Hello, I play on skyblock(.net) and I would like to know what items can be obtained.

For example, Obisidian, carrots, diamonds, and so on.

Also, is it possible to get to the nether?

 

Pretty much any item is obtainable. However, there are a few items that are unobtainable or illegal to trade/sell.
Im guessing your new, so Ill just give you the whole rundown

Illegal to trade items are: Dirt, Podzol, sand based items including glass(glass is legal to trade), and buckets of any sort, filled or not. Illegal to own items would be steve heads and wither skulls, sponge, bedrock, and any other items that are not released on the server. Im pretty sure that covers it, however, I may have missed some so anyone is welcome to correct me on any of that But any other items than what I have mentioned are obtainable/legal. Such as carrots, potatoes, obsidian, and so on.

And just so you know, the 'currency' I guess you could call it, or rather, what you typically use to trade items is grass, diamonds, and ocasionally other rares. So if you have any of those, they can be used for either decorating your island or for trading

And no, it is not possible to get to the nether. Its been disabled on both .net and .org

The easiest ways I can think of is 1. Making it yourself or 2. Trading grass for it. If your gonna make one, you could make an obsidian generator for the obsidian, sugarcane farm for the book, and if you need a diamonds, I can spare some

You can set up threads to either buy or sell stuff, and people bid on it with either grass, diamonds, rares, or really whatever your after. Just thought this might help you in the future cx

I would also like to state that I am a .org moderator and I dont play/know an awful lot about .net. Im sure any avid .net player or .net moderator would have a load of better answers, but I just wanted to provide the little bit of .net knowledge I know to at least try to help a little bit. cx

I thought glass was legal to trade because the villager @ /warp grass carries it? Did this change recently or not because it still seems like a tradable item.

 

You can only obtain it through the villager, I do believe. Player trading, however, is illegal. Ill look around and make sure that this is true, but as far as I know, its illegal to trade a player glass.
I was getting org and net confused. Excuse me Glass, stained glass, anything glass is legal to trade. Sand however, is not. Again, very sorry. cx

 

Please get back to me on this, because now I'm wavering in the middle of my two thoughts. A direction will help greatly!

No, glass trade between players has been lifted for almost a year now. That's not a problem though.
