My mic is becoming fuzzy and I am going to get a new one. What headset do you suggest I should get?

I have a playtronics rig. Paid around $80 for it.
But if you are not fussy, most cheap headsets do a decent job. I have been told the best I have ever sounded on mic came from a $12 headset.

I recommend either getting a ModMic, or don't use a headset mic at all. The ModMic has pretty good sound quality, compared to what other, more expensive headsets have built in, but it is still inferior to most standalone microphones.

If you're really looking not looking to spend much for a free-standing mic, the Blue Snowball has great sound for it's price, although it kinda looks ugly, imo.

I use a cloud hyperx 2, it's pretty good and works well. It costs around 100 dollars but it's worth it since it has 7.1 surround sound.

I doubt it has 8 speakers in the headset. It is most likely simulated surround.

I really love the ones I use. They have good quality and are super comfortable. I got mine for $50 and I don't regret anything about them.

I used to use a Logitech one similar to that one; unsure if it was the same but whatever. The actual ear part kept on falling off so I just threw it out. Other than that, it was really good. Comfortable & the mic worked well.

    I use a modmic 4.0 and audiotechnica ath-m50x or audiotechnica ath ad500x

If you want something cheap I'd recommend the hyperx cloud gaming headset. It's comfy af, good build quality, and mics good and detatchable.

I just buy some turtle beaches that usually last a year or two, and since they're fairly cheap if they break its not a big deal.

Surprisingly, I use an old PS3 Headset that has been through everything. Although it's getting to the point of replacement, it was a hell of a headset. It was wireless and at times I would walk into the kitchen and still be able to communicate with friends. They're quite bulky but are hella comfy.
They were 100$ when the came out, but that was like 4-5 years ago. Can't believe they lasted this long.

I also use the Hyperx cloud 2's, even though they can get a bit uncomfortable with glasses.
It's microphone is however not the best and kind of quiet.

Why pay for an expensive headset when earbuds do the same thing and don't mess with your hair?
