Hello all, I've been having an issue where I try and color an entire sentence, but only about half of it is actually colored. The rest just comes out in white. Anyone having this? Is there a plan to fix it? Or is it just me?
I’ve noticed it’s an issue that keeps going away then coming back, though, that might be because I change versions a lot. Not exactly sure what would cause it. Leeeroieee perhaps knows the exact issue but you aren’t the only one who notices it.
I haven't noticed this, but I haven't been using colour too much to be honest. Although I noticed some little glitches when I have used colour a few times, but I'm not sure it was this one
Yeah, I've had this issue too. Possibly because I haven't changed versions since the release of the new server. I thought everyone was experiencing the same, but apparently not.
Judging by everyone's replies, I'd imagine this affects players playing on 1.12, but not the ones playing on earlier versions. I've experienced it without fail since the new server was released--since I started using the latest MC version. It's annoying, and solely client-side. For the Devs, I think the problem is this: Because it's not being put through the new converter it has client-side issues (like colour not going onto the second line). I'm not overly fluent in this type of coding, so I could be wrong.
I noticed it too as I play and use 1.12 on the new server. I have to do the same color or font code (bold, italic, etc) again in the next sentence as the colors and effects disappear on each new line that doesnt have a code
