I was in Skyblock Survival and Skylord AlfredoGamer said he was dropping stuff at his island. I /visit while as '/disguise cat' and he started saying who is the cat who the cat. Then Mod came over, i went back to my island. Then i get a Warning for trying to steal a Shulker box. No items were dropped, nothing was attempted to be stolen. Some kid freaked out over nothing and now i have a warning for 3 days. What is this nonsense? I get a warning over being on an island that a guy unlocked and said come here for items? Seems ridiculous. Edit: just noticed that it put the picture 3 times
From your description it seems like a misunderstanding but you can completely understand why as you were disguised looking shady, and Alfred may have perceived your actions as malicious. also there are always two sides to a story, perhaps a discussion with the staff member might help clarify the warnings.
Yea i talked with them and they said they didnt make it public, but still that is slander. Defamation of reputation with me doing nothing wrong and it being one sided over nothing.
Island owner claimed you were trying to take their shulker box every time they tried to mine it. They said you kept standing over it to try to pick it up. This activity is very suspicious. Therefore a warning was given. I tried to keep your privacy in game by making it silent. Just do not try to steal again.
On my end it didnt show any cracks on block like it was being broken so how was i supposed to know he was trying to mine it? Simple enough he could have stated something other than getting a mod to try and get rid of me. Liek seriously couldn't see it cracking and didnt see any chat pop up saying if i could move
From my perspective, this all seems like a bit of a misunderstanding; but honestly -it’s just one warning. It’s really not a big deal unless you get them regularly. The warning will expire in 3 days and it will be forgotten about- so I don’t really know what the fuss is all about.
Warnings aren't really worth getting upset about. They're mainly there to prevent repeat offenders within a short timespan, as after 3 you'll get a short tempban. If you do not reach the 3 required for a ban within the time limit, they will expire and aren't really important in the long run. Ideally, they're there to make you think about your actions, and think about what you could do differently to avoid a future warning. Perhaps in the future, just be wary of things that might end badly, or with a warning. Also, generally calling out a staff member through a thread probably isn't the best way to go about finding out what happened. It'd be better to private message the mod in question.
