-=- Introduction -=- I have decided to apply for staff for one reason, not saying the mods are in-active but there are still some of the spammers get away with things. I believe in forum member trust when it comes to reports, but over time I believe I need mod to keep up with things. I have heard over time that almost all reports are player based not staff (although they make the ban.) So Here I Go. Your in-game name My name is munchiemouth, although my friends call me Munchie or Munch it doesn't matter. Many people in-game ask me “Why did you pick that name” Well, to answer that my mother choose it. Ever since I played video games I have used the game tag “Munchemouth” After playing Minecraft, my account got hijacked and password changed. So for my Birthday my Mom gave me a new account named “Munchiemouth” I never noticed the difference. How old are you? I am 14 years of age. My birthday is April 4th 2000 What timezone are you in? Central (USA) I believe at the time I get off school, There should me mods on because that's when a lot of kids or teens get off school. I get off school at 3:10 but now that it is Summer, I dont have school (besides a summer school fishing class ) What country do you live in? USA, me and my family originated from Germany and England. My great great great grandparents immigrated here and moved to the same location and later started a family. My family tree is interesting What languages do you speak? I mainly speak English Although as an elective in school, I took French and Spanish. I also know a bit of german but it is swear words Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Nope, and I hope never to be. I'm kind of of a “Goodie Goodie” Why do you think you should be a mod? Well I believe I am responsible and mature for my age, I love helping people and I know all the commands. /Mute (player) Reason /Kick (player) Reason /Tpo (player) /Tpohere (player) /Tempban (player) /Ban (player) I also have these traits. Kind: I am a kind, polite, friendly person to all people. I understand that Minecraft is only a game, yet some people may enjoy it more than others. A moderator should be polite to all and not use any profanity or potentially harmful vocabulary at any time. I do not and will not do this. (I do not consider "noob" an offensive word.) Sympathetic: Being sympathetic is a very good trait for a moderator to have. It is useful to be able to look at another player's point of view and see what they see. I can do this and I feel that it would help me as a moderator. Fun: While also being hard-working and helpful. it is still important to have fun! Not only will I have fun, but I will make Skyblock a safe and fun environment for all. Hard-working: Being hard-working and dedicated is a very good and quite possibly a necessary trait of a moderator. I am hard-working and I will not give up on situations (or anything else really) until the job is done. Take yesterday, meeting the community was a suggestion. So, I spent 14 hours on TeamSpeak talking to loads of people and playing in-game. Patient: I am a very patient person. If someone needs time to do something, or is struggling to understand something, I will not snap at them and I will continue to help for as long as I can. Maturity: I am a fairly new Skyblock player. This is a child-friendly server that requires grown-up, mature staff to keep it a safe and fun environment for all. While being older than other players, I will never use language or insinuate adult - or potentially inappropriate - content anywhere on the server or its forums. Active: I am an active Skyblock. I will continue to be active (and probably more active) than ever before. I will spread my time evenly between any servers I am assigned to, and give them equal and sufficient time. Helpful: I have always tried to have been helpful, to any and all players. If I become a moderator I will continue this trend and assist players in any way I can. Whether this be on the forums or in-game. I have always been a fan of reporting players who do not stick to the rules and keeping the Mineverse community at its best. Prior experience: I have been Moderator, Admin and Developers on other servers. . I know most basic commands and even a few more advanced commands. I am not afraid of testing new plugins or commands, and I am always willing to learn. Open to advice: I am always open to advice. If I am ever unsure about what punishment to issue, if a punishment is necessary or basically anything else for that matter, I will always ask. There is nothing wrong with a second or third opinion, so if I was unsure you can still rest assured the right service will be applied. Honest: Another very important quality of a mod is honesty. Without honesty, it can be difficult to make progress in many situations, this is why I am always honest. Like a wise man (or woman) once said, "Honesty is the best policy." Trustworthy: A great trait for a moderator to have is trustworthiness. This one is not given, but earned. I have earnt this with many players and as a moderator the list would continue to grow. Unbiased: I would Never take sides or make an unfair or unjust decision intentionally. I will always try and keep my decisions fair and reasonable. This is needed to keep moderating fair for all, and to be an honest, non-abusive mod! Knowledge: Having hosted mini-servers and been various ranks on others, I know commands and what they do. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I guess it depends on the day and time. My mother is moving to Colorado and is wanting me to visit every couple months. Without that exception here is my schedule for summer: Note my schedule will be updated. Monday’s 2 to 5 hours. Tuesday’s 2 to 5 hours. Wednesday's 2 to 5 hours. Thursday’s 2 to 5 hours. Friday’s 3 to 6 hours. Weekend’s 2 to 7 hours. How long have you been playing skyblock.org? I have been playing awhile, I'm not exactly sure but i've been on a lot. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Tons, I have owned my owned many servers and moderated on several. Might want to add a little more detail. Another thing, the reason mods aren't always online is because of time zones. If they aren't online just report them I know you're trying to make your app long, but in the first question it says your in game name. You don't have to add all this stuff about "how I chose this name" just saying. I'll give you 25% support because I don't really see you online even if you are online I don't see you active in chat helping others.
