I have a couple of times many years ago. It was for island farming twice as a greenie I believe, don't fully remember.

Why do you think you should be unbanned?
Because I wasn't attempting to break any of the rules. I will return the sand and dirt if necessary, I haven't even used it I don't think. I'm harmlessly playing a server and haven't done things to try and get banned. I understand if the ban isn't lifted, but I'd really appreciate it because I have a lot of projects I'm working on while I'm off for a break during school. I don't mind returning the sand and dirt at all, it's not an issue at all. Sorry to have wasted your time with the ban and reading this.

Is taking someone's marijuana that they were giving away legal? With your logic, due to you simply taking the illegal drug makes your ownership of the drug legal.

It was not technically given to you -- you had to physically open a chest, most likely more than one, and take out over one thousand blocks of sand and over five hundred blocks of dirt. The permission to take it, which was not right on DietPepsi22's part [unless you have proof of this there will be no punishment for them], is very different than something being given to you.

What makes you say "probably?" Placing dirt or sand or any other illegal item in the furnaces at /warp trade and leaving them for another player to take was illegal, so what makes this situation any different?

The fact that you had no rank at the time of these bans is not important to the question being asked.

You are right. You were not attempting to break any of the rules -- you did break the rules.

It is necessary for the dirt and sand to be returned. I'll be moving the dirt and sand back to DietPepsi22's island.

This also concerned me because this makes me believe that you have traded or received more than this amount of dirt and sand from another player or other players.

If you haven't done things to get banned, then why are you banned at the moment for taking illegal items from another player when you have clearly stated that you have read the rules many times?

I do not have any wish to accept this appeal at this moment in time as your entire paragraph does not seem remorseful at all and does not even seem like you know what you did and why it was wrong.

 

I completely agree, which is the reason why I said that I would return the sand and dirt. However, he did give me permission. I will try and get proof.

Not how I meant it. At first, I thought this was referring to the thousands of sand that were mine that was on a very old island of mine and moved to a different island.

I read the rules many years ago. Haven't read them since then. Still, I answered the question honestly, but I will reread the rules after this message.

I do know what I did wrong and I understand why. It won't happen again. I am being remorseful: I said sorry for wasting your time, and that I would return the sand and dirt. Now my JeffCiv head is gone..

 

This is unrelated to your appeal. Please make a report about this as I am unable to handle it at the moment.

This is a ban you're going to have to wait out. I do not believe you truly understand what you have done wrong and are mainly upset about your actions because you were caught taking dirt and sand from DietPepsi22 and not because you did it.
