The good: Stop mod spam, less god items
The bad: sometimes a god item is how an item is distinguished in scams, giving more commands to people

I really cant think of ungod being negative? I cant think if how it can be abused

 

To be honest, i dont see how godding something would remove value since the item itself is still normal, still an item with the same function. Especially godded rares because the item itself is still rare. A stack of godded sappling can still be used to grow trees, so technically its value hasnt changed. But whatever, if thats the way people have defined godded items, theres no point arguing. I will just keep my waterblock safe until an /ungod command comes around. if not? well whatever.

 

but thats the thing, why would some dictate that lava blocks and fire blocks etc are worth less godded? because i just think ungodded looks a little better, but thats it. They are both the same, one just happens to be shiny and have enchantments. If you place a fire block it makes fire, if you place a godded fire block, it makes fire. If you place a god sappling, it grows into a tree, if you place a normal sap it grows into a tree. If you craft with a god diamond you get an output, craft with normal diamonds, you get a output. See where this is heading?

My educated guess to why the prices are lower for god items, is now people are complaining that there are too many god items on the server, and that means that prices should go down once they start being not so rare. But no one stopped to think that god items are just ITEMS: they serve the same purpose as regular items, and this should not impact on the worth. But it does, as people are frustrated. People are leaving the server because of the economy on .net, some how i dont blame them. Im just lucky i dont want to see my things that much, or i would be leaving.
