I play this server alot and have a HUGE island. I really don't see why I was banned. I was just PMing my friend a server because he wanted to get off skyblock, so I PMd him another server that we could go onto. In my eyes, I was NOT advertising, I did not post it in the public chat. I was just telling my friend a server we could go onto instead.

 

Alright. To clarify, it was my friend who I messaged it to. I was not publicly advertising, therefore I believe I should be unbanned.

 

As the rules say (/rules) no advertising is allowed.
Vampire's right (but I will delete your comments) I can't know that, and advertising is a permban without chance to appeal. I want riyer to have a say in this matter and I will then come to a decision.
Right now it's a clear: "Deny"

I've seen cases in which a person sending a message that contained a server address got unbanned.

I don't think that it should be against the rules to send a PM to someone with a server address (as long as you aren't randomly PMing everyone the address). However, I have also seen cases in which the offender was banned.

I for one am in favor of an unban, but it all comes down to Akrill's judgement.

Unbanned as requested. As a note to moderators, don't ban for people giving ips in pms. They're allowed to, as long as they aren't spamming multiple people or multiple times without cause.
