Soooo, I'm making this to I guess contribute to the server? I dunno it just seems like I could actually try for a position for T-Mod so yeah. This might seem half-assed (am I allowed to say that on here?) but y'know it seems like I'd enjoy helping the server out; as you can tell I'm trying to do this without sounding cheesy as cheesy is my speciality and honestly it hasn't gotten me far. Your in-game name: Pierys Which timezone are you in? I mean it changes, if I'm correct it should be GMT but in the summer I think it's GMT+1 but yeah, I'm British so if that helps. Oh god I seem completely and utterly stupid! Which languages do you speak? English! (Which I may add probably not even that well) I've wanted to learn other languages but the education system over here is a bunch of rubbish. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Nah. Why do you think you should be a mod? Because I can be. I don't want to sound like I'm all over myself but I'd fit the role, I've given myself time to learn about the server on my own before actually doing anything since y'know I don't want to make a bigger fool of myself than I'm going to anyways, you get me? I'm familiar with logblock and the basic /ban /kick /tempban etc commands so I wouldn't need training - or at least much training. Also it has annoyed me that I've only seen two different mods on whenever I'm on and half the time nobody is even online so lemme fix it, 'kay? I dunno, I guess I could allow myself to bit cheesy and say that helping people is sort of fun, also I want to be able to say to somebody "yeah sure, I'll come and help you" rather than "You'll have to report it on the forums" because there's no mods on. Also you need to sort out your moderators and get all the time zones covered because I'm getting sick of seeing a mod on in the morning for me for an hour or so and not seeing another moderator until around 4-5 in the afternoon if I'm lucky... This is on a weekend keep in mind. I understand they have lives off of Skyblock but seriously, this is getting really annoying. How long can you be active on the server every day? I mean it depends when I can hop on, minechat is an option in the mornings when I head to school and as for afternoons I could probably get on for 3-4 hours if you want. I imagine becoming mod will give me more to do which will lead to me not actually ending up leaving the server. Of course the school holidays are an option and I leave school like June next year so I'm off for a couple of months so that helps? Depends if I get a job though. But yeah, the point is, is that I'm willing to give you my time. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Nope, but does it matter? I've stated that I'm up for the challenge and I'm knowledgeable when it comes to the server rules and the plugin commands. Also may I add I've been on the server for a couple of months but due to forums being my arch-enemy I didn't join them. #Robin4President
50% support this is a really good app but I don't think I've ever seen you ingame and we are in the same time zone, also could you mention if you help or not on the server? Becoming a mod isn't all about the commands and your power, you have to be a role model to everyone especially new players, if someone needs help you must be willing to help. Also I know you've only just joined forums but you will need to be more active on here it's very important, please try your best I know you don't really like them
I appreciate the constructive criticism but I don't recall mentioning I was after the commands, I simply mentioned that I knew of them so it would probably assist if I was to become a mod so I'm not really sure what you're getting at. Also, I haven't seen you either but I've been online a couple hours or so, today but yeah.
IN GAME - Have never seen you... Different time zones - I cant really judge if your helpful or not as I haven't seen you online. FORUMS - You only joined the forums yesterday and have 15 messages... - A moderator needs to be as active on the forums as they are in game, try to be more active on the forums. APPLICATION - Your application is very neat and tidy. - You could use some more information on the "Why do you think you should be a mod" section - From reading you application you seem suitable to moderate. I've seen you around the forums for 1 day and you seem very mature, intelligent and responsible. 50% Support. Good Luck
I don't like to fully judge any newbie members' applications fully because they do t really have my support but info like to give constructive critz for the future. I know it may seem to be unfair to discriminate new members from applying just because they are new, but what can we say? In order to be mod you have to show you are active. Being new isn't a good factor. But you can begin to get into the vibe of the forums to be more familiar with it as you go along. (future reference: look at accepted moderator applications to see what standards you should fufill)
I'm sorry, I'm confused. I can clarify that I am, in fact not a 'newbie' as stated above in my application. Like I mentioned earlier it's pretty rad that you guys have taken your time to give me constructive criticism, the only thing you can really classify as new is my forums account could you guys possibly expand?
Oh sorry I wasn't implying that you was after the commands I was informing you about other important roles because you never mentioned about your help or how you would handle any situations and I couldn't make it online yesterday so I wouldn't of seen you
