Over the past week i have had some trouble connecting to org. But today has been so frustrating and especially bad. My internet connection is great on other servers and Im using ADSL1+ so it shouldnt be bad at all. When I join or sometimes during the time that im on my ping rises to above 1000ms (once it reached 1800ms.) Also i randomly disconnect and get kicked like other people.
But today is another story. When i join, it auto reconnects again and again. Then after i send a message into chat or do anything i immediately get an error. The error is "io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException, connection timed out:"
Also, yesterday at a time when the server wasnt scheduled to restart everyone was disconnected for about 5 minutes. I dont know if its the hosting company or server but its very frustrating. I have restarted my laptop, reset my wifi, restarted minecraft and redownloaded it and it is only having trouble with .org - no other servers which use a lot more megabytes. I live in Australia so maybe its just because the hosting company is based further away? But its only happened to me this bad and laggy this week. If you can fix thatd be great because at the moment i cant even connect.


Also, I am only a junior member, I joined just over a month ago on the forums and need to report some people. Apparently I am not allowed to and have insufficient privileges for it so if I am unable to report there, Ive seen many other people wanting to report but are unable to due to how long they've been on the forums for.

 

Hm, well I have no clue what to tell you about connecting to .Org since I haven't been hearing about any problems with it recently. Maybe try giving it a couple hours or days, and then try again.

Are you sure you're going into the correct area to report players? I've seen a lot of players accidentally go into Archive instead of Server Reports.

 

I've had a lot of problems connecting today, without really knowing why

I constantly disconnect (in sync with others disconnecting hmmmm) and struggle to reconnect, pls fix
