Implemented Trophy Points: Add a Happy Birthday Trophy like Mineverse

Hi there,

I’m writing this in the early morning with my eyes almost shut so sorry for any typos or mistakes. *Will edit in the morning

My suggestion was to add a Happy Birthday Trophy that will be given to players on their birthday if registered on the Forums. Why? Well it’s on Mineverse and I got the idea to suggest it here on my birthday. It would be a fun thing to add and would be a “happy birthday from the Forums” to the player. It could give you 2 trophy points (just like Mineverse) or altered to maybe 1, not too high as it’s merely a simple trophy that you can get once for “celebrating your birthday on the Forums”.

Let me know on your thoughts to this. I would love for this to be added.

tbh I don't think we need everything mineverse does I guess it would be okay but it wouldn't add much to the community anyways. Besides, it would defeat the purpose because -
A. You can find out a persons birthday even if they have the setting disabled for it to be public by viewing the date they received the trophy
B. Its a pointless trophy that you can't work towards, it's practically just a scuffed 1 year trophy

 

I’m not too sure if it’s going to be showing other’s birthday because really who has the time to look at other’s trophies. Ngl that’s creepy lol.

It’s just a 2 point trophy so it’s not much. 2 points isn’t going to make a difference. The other trophies that you work for have higher points. The 2 points won’t get you from New Member to Active Member lol it’s just 2 points. It’s a fun trophy and it’s kind of like a reward on your birthday, like a freebie.

I see where you’re coming from us trying to copy Mineverse but we’re literally sister servers so it’s not a big of a deal if he get some ideas from them and they get some from us. We also have similar forums so it’s not going to be that hard (I think) to add a new trophy because it’s going to be the same way how they added theirs.

bumping this, it’s not a very necessary suggestion that needs/should be added but it’s a cute and nice trophy that can be added to wish the player a happy birthday

 

While I originally liked this idea, now that I think about it, it would make it impossible to catch up to those who have been on forums for a longer amount of time.

Here is the scenario:

Person A has all the trophies, and has been on the forums for 5 years

Person B has all the trophies, and has been on the server for 2 years

Person A will have received 4-5 birthday trophies, whilst person B will have only earned 1-2 birthday trophies, and as a result, person b will be at a permanent disadvantage, and will never, ever be able to beat or to even tie with person A, which puts person B in an unfair situation.

 

The birthday trophies are a one time trophy, it doesn’t repeat. You can get it once like it does on Mineverse and it isn’t really a disadvantage as everyone can get it. It’d probably be 2 points like how it is on Mineverse so it’s not a huge number. So it’s not really a permanent damage as the trophy is only a one time thing and everyone would be able to get it if their birthday is registered on the Forums.
