    A TradeShop is basically a safe way to buy or sell items. Instead of throwing or tossing the item you are trading to the other player, you right click a sign and it places the item right into your inventory, in place of your payment. You can set up a TradeShop at your or your alt's island and unlock it while you are offline and people can still buy your stuff! When you come online, just open the chest by right clicking it or the sign above it, and if someone bought something, you'll see their payment inside! You have to be careful when buying stuff from TradeShops though. If you have a non-complete stack of the item you are buying inside your inventory while buying it, you won't get the full amount of the item you payed for.

    This TradeShop setup means I am trading 1 Cobblestone for 1 Stick. Put the item you are selling on top. Put the item you are receiving on the bottom. Remember to put the item you are selling inside the chest and leave one empty space for the item you receive.

    Use this Format below line by line to create a TradeShop:
    [Trade]
    <The Amount> <The Item You Are Giving>
    <The Amount> <The Item You Are Receiving>
    <Your In-Game Name [Not /nick if you have one]>

    After doing this, it should say:

    You have successfully created a trade shop!
    You are trading <Amount> <Item> for <Amount> <Item>!

    Don't like the green [Trade] text it shows every time you create a TradeShop? Well, I have a solution to that; colored [Trade] texts! How do I do this? Well, you have to simply lock the chest before creating the TradeShop by placing a sign, while holding shift, on the chest. When creating the TradeShop, you still use the same format above, you just add a color code to the [Trade]. For example:

    For this TradeShop, I did [&fTrade&0]. You can do any color for this! But unfortunately, it only works for the first line.

    Congratulations, you have successfully created a trade shop!

    There are plenty of different types of shop plugins. I'm not sure that I am correct, but I think it's ChestTrade.

    Maybe you should make the tradeshop scam glitch a bit more obvious, maybe in bold? Nice guide though! :)

    i doubt thats it, being that the only release was a beta in 2013... for 1.6.4
    I'm asking because i'm trying to figure out how to sell stuff that needs a item number instead of a name on the sign.
