OK lets say I have the same amount of votes as the tenth person in the list and I cant get on, I suggest When I'm Tying with the person with the tenth most votes there should be one more slot with me in it. Here is an example

Full support! It is not very fair if someone has the same amount of votes, but are not on the board.

 

Neutral because you can easily check how many votes you have with /vote. The only potential use I can find for it is to see how much competition there is for 10th place, but it doesn't seem worth it.

 

You get a $25 gift card if you are in the top 10 though, so it wouldn't be fair

 

Topvotes and /vote have bugs, though. I have never seen my name in topvotes and /votes always seems to show my total lower than actual. For example I am sure I’ve voted 100% in March (93) but when I type /vote it says I have 85.

I’m not sure what’s going on there (does it not count on days where I vote but don’t log on that day? Is there one of the three servers that has communication issues? Just random glitching?) But I think you’ll find the topvotes list doesn’t often match the persons awarded the gift card at the end.

 

There is probably a lot of people with the same amount of votes as you go down the list. So if there are 50 people with 88 votes (going by the picture) you're saying they should all be added to the topvotes and get a giftcard?

 

It was probably the glitch but that would account for three votes probably.

So are the mods really not going to address that? Like how many people bothered to vote every morning and just get a, “sorry, there was a glitch.”?

 

I mean there isn’t much they can do. What are they gonna do? add on more votes? They can’t do that, they probably can’t afford to repay every person that voted that day. There is no thing they can do to fix it.



And as for the suggestion, no. You’re only suggesting because you want on top voters. It’s always been 10, it just depends on who they pick or who comes first. Life isn’t fair. Besides, what if like, 60 other people got that number too? Does that mean there should be 60 more voter slots? No? Because it’s unfair. And what about the people who are short one vote? Since we are adding slots for you because you wanted to be on top 10, shouldn’t they get personal slots too?

No support, if you vote first, you’ll win. If you’re that dedicated, you’ll do it. When I ran for topvotes, I voted every single day at 5am, just to make sure I’d be the first to vote when votes reset.

No support the vote system is gifted to the ones that first vote on the first day on the month the quickest. The vote system isn’t perfect but I’m okay with that as it gives opertunities to all players to win top votes at the end of the month. I sense a little bit of greed when players want to win top votes every month...

Topvotes shouldn’t be just about the reward at the end it should be about everyone coming together as a community to vote for the server, to get it more recognised.
