I know that there was probally a thrrad about this by chris, but i did'nt really understand.

So to get top voter, i will most likely win if i vote everyday from the start of the reset.

But if i missed a day, i will most likely be tied with other people who missed a day. If there were more than 5 people (assuming the 1st position was taken by the person who voted every day)
who are tied, how does the systen decides who gets the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th position?

If we take a look at this month's ongoing top voters, there are 4 players who are tied on 44 votes each. As you can see, they aren't in alphabetical order, so we can rule that method off the list of possible ways.

With this out of the question, it's most likely down to the order in which they voted, which yes, is unfortunately affected by which time zone you're in. This means that the time zones that are ahead (so players in Australia for example) would have voted first, so they would be at the top of the tied list of voters.

On a further note, unrelated to the question, shouldn't this just be in the help sub-forum, and not in 'Guides & "How To"?

 

If you keep refreshing votes.sb you will see the order change (for those on the same number of votes). I t appears to be random to some degree but you will often see one or two never being pushed to the top of that order
