Hi! I was watching a video about a different server and they created a plugin that stops scaming. The way the plugin worked is someone would come close to the person they wanted to trade to they must be within 10 blocks of each other. Once they are next to each other they one of them do /trade (the other persons ign) then it opens up a kind of chest thing that in the middle is divided by iron bars. On one side it says You, place what you want to trade in the place where it says you. Then the person you are trading with puts there offer on their side. Then at the bottom it says something like Ready and not ready if you click ready you like the trade and are ready to trade then the other person does it and then you will get your items and the other person will get their items. Dupe glitches galore.
It's been tried, and dupes were found.
It won't happen again.

 

As it's a plugin and operates server side, Dupe glitches can be removed.
Support.

 

Whether or not it's server side, that makes it much more easy to get a dupe glitch working.
Lag is server side, and allows the client to manipulate the plugin itself, there's no fixing that.
It won't ever even come close to consideration for that point, it's not worth the time.

 

Cyp has denied suggestions like this for exactly what Terrick is saying, no support.

 

I'm not totally disagreeing, but can't you make the same argument for other plugins? And why do so many other factions, skyblock, pvp servers, etc. have this plugin if there are dupe glitches?

Oh and just saying, I'm giving this max 24 hours before it gets locked. Cyp is really against adding this plugin.

 

Obviously you don't understand servers. Lag server side? that would not dupe items because the server is boss, it tells the client what to do, know way around that. So a correctly coded plugin is dupe glitch free. also if there is lag, it's on your end.

 

I suggested it but they said it wouldn't happen again because of people doing illegal trade.

A Plugin can be coded to disallow items being traded..

 

Anything server side occurs on everyones client who it may be visible to.
Lag is one of those things, you don't blame a client for lag, you complain about the server.
Whether or not the lag is forever, small spikes cause plugins to break and allow dupe glitches, they're not intended.
Fixes can be pushed, however, more glitches can be found.

If you're going to go off of "you don't understand", then clearly you have no clue why I'm even posting here.

 

One does not simply try to correct Terrick. Terrick is a god bow to him.

Anyways no support even if implemented you would have people spamming you with the trade gui.

 

That's a simple fix, /toggle traderequests
