Economy Tiered Daily rewards

    I posted this on the discord suggestions, however the tab for that has been removed so ill repost on here.

    Daily Rewards give you $500 each day. which is great for new players, not so useful for older players. this barely buys a single block at times from /shop, so really there isnt much use for it,
    so i suggest a better incentive to claim each day, by introducing a tiered rewards system.

    the way this could work is as follows..

    claim your daily rewards, everyday without missing a day for the first week of the month, (or for 7 days), then after 7 days of continous claiming, this could increase to $1,000 rewards each day. then after another 7 days of daily claiming, it could increase to $1,500. and for the final week of the month it could increase to 2k rewards.

    Each week increased by $500, this could give players more reason to claim an otherwise unsused command.
    plus helping new players too that struggle with money making. if you miss a day,. it resets back to $500 again, uintil another 7 days has been claimed in a row.


    On skyblock , this could equate to 1 block of grass for the first week or two weeks, then 2 blocks for the third and fourth week ( grass value is more than eco value, so maybe a 14 day claim for skyblock survival.

    Many players dont claim /daily because theres very little point, however introducing these new tiered rewards, could be a better feature for this.

    Simple alternative could be +$250 bonus every day in a streak
    For example:
    $1,000 -> $1,250 -> $1,500
    After a year:
    $1,000 + 365 * $250 = $92,250

    An extra $92k per day may sound like a lot, but if you've been playing every day for a year, then you're likely to have built the farms needed to be making upwards of $1.5M per day. It's a good balance to not be insignificant as to warrant breaking the streak, and not so significant that it is a powerful force in the economy.

    Definitely has the potential to be abused using alts to all simultaneously get daily streaks for mass amounts of money though. Not sure how to combat that one.

    support this is needed for economy, not so much survival?

    also its another thing that entices players to log on the server. possibly hooking them. and even if its a super small percentage, it adds up.

    in return, more players, more money in pockets

    Bumping lol. Daily gives 1k now which is cool. But I still think having some form of tiered dialy rewards where they add up for the higher days in a row would be more rewarding

    Why not survival? Sure grass is more valuable but in my opinion both servers would appreciate this kind of update...

    This could be very easily abused with alts for really easy free money if they just log on for many weeks

    I get that /daily kinda sucks for more experienced players but I don’t really feel like it was a command meant to boost your assets that much anyway, just help newbies a little without giving them enough cash that it’s not worth it to invest in shops/farms etc at an earlier stage.

    Maybe this sounds rather laissez-faire, but I don’t think more experienced players should expect much out of something you can claim every day .

    But I feel like /daily could be overhauled so that maybe after 7 straight days of logging in you receive something nice like a rare key, emeralds etc. And if you log in every day of that month you could receive something even better like an emerald block or another way to earn your player head or something

    That’s just my opinion, I rate it neutral as while I agree /daily should be revamped I’m just not a fan of your method of revamping it.

    This already happens with keys. Multiple alts left online to farm afk keys from vote parties.

    Allowing us an extra $500 each day from the daily doesn't add up near as much as the keys in comparison here. We could debate the alt use forever in that scenario.
    This was an old suggestion and as such, sure there could be other ways to revamp the daily rewards to make them more appealing to claim.

    I've changed my mind on this one and am switching to neutral. Increasing /daily to 5k or 10k to be more on par with /skyblock feels like a better alternative than introducing a tier system.

    I'm gonna stick with supporting tiered rewards, regardless of whether or not the prizes are good for more experienced players. Anything that helps the newbies stay around for longer.

    You're comparing tiered daily, with collecting vote parties using alts. Multiple players already use their alt accounts for this purpose.

    Having tiered daily rewards that, for example, add an extra $500 each day for up to a week, still won't earn as much as farming keys using alts. (1 key sells around 4-5k and vote parties often issue 3 or 4 keys every few hours. )

    So comparing the incentive to farm daily rewards compared to your example of farming keys, I wouldn't say thats the cause for concern here. Having tiered daily rewards would simply incentivise players to claim it more regularly.

    Skyblock daily is 1 grass.
    Economy daily is $1000. (if i heard correctly)

    Let’s assume for this purpose 1 Grass on skyblock is worth $8,000 on economy.
    (this is approximately actual price)

    Player “Steve” logs on skyblock for 30 days and claims 1 grass each day.
    Steve has 30 grass and can now purchase a spawner.

    Player “Steve” now does the same thing, but on economy.
    Steve has $30,000. It’s simply nothing when stretched those 30 days. You cannot buy a spawner. They cost about $130,000.
    ($1000 economy is almost equivalent to 1 iron nugget on skyblock, imagine saving a nugget for 9 days just to get an ingot)

    On economy there is player made shops new players can AFK at, and will produce about 10k-35k per hour depending on server TPS (server speed).
    Let’s say Steve had passion to make money, they would then seek out other forms of income though islands, farms, chat, trading, and research.
    But if Steve was just a casual player not looking for other opportunities for income, $1000 wont get Steve very far at all.

    If Steve was to save his 30 Skyblock grass and then trade it to economy for $8000 a block, he then would have $240,000. Which is much more helpful for new players. However many new players probably wouldn't do this at all lol
    which is why an eco daily and chat react buff

    Make eco daily and chat reactions $8,000, or $4,000 if not 8.
    As for tiered rewards, maybe not a tiered daily reward but a weekly or monthly reward for logging on consecutively. This way stacking alts wouldn’t be a too crazy strategy. i am noob

    (update: i could be wrong on the actual economy daily reward amount, i just heard it was $1000)

    Very well broken down thanks quoken. Seeing it put into comparison this way then daily definitely could use a rework.

    It used to be 500 when I made this yhread but since then not sure when it's been upped to 1k.

    Maybe having a weekly bonus could work instead of tiered rewards that add an extra 500$ each day, but even if we did have tiered rewards and capped it at 7 days per bonus rewards, then that could be another option. Daily isn't meant to be there as a supportive income, but it is there as a reward for checking in on the server each day. It could become the new reaction top, as in daily top. Just a random idea lol.

    Voting pretty much is the daily reward and the over time tier reward you get. And then gift cards if you’re top. I think just Eco daily needs raised.

    Maybe even up the economy voting cash reward. Im not sure how much it gives you.
