There is a new tower style pumpkin farm design which is responsible for the current iron shortage and value increase. You don't have to believe me, but mine was the first. This was based off the end caps from Remo and mooamoo's linear design. My farm can be viewed at /warp deathstar.

Based on new information, I am designing an even better farm that will destroy the iron market entirely, just in time for the EULA. If .org is going to die, let's end on a bang. I hope it lives though. If it does, this will be the new farm design.

Knowledge is power, and I believe it should be free to all. I am Prometheus, and I have stolen fire from the gods.

This thread will be edited when the tutorial is finished, but here's a teaser screen. Those who use the tower farms will know what this means.


[EDIT] I screwed up the poll thing and don't know how to edit it. Little help?

[EDIT 2] The second image shows power corners as black and light corners as white. Blue and red squares are 5x5 pumpkin towers as based on the current known method.

[EDIT 3] img 3 is the redstone layer. This is the first layer you ACUTALLY have to build. redstone on top of this layer comes up from the clock at the center. Torches are at the side. See image 4 for torch placement.

New info. I'm building a scaled down version of this at my island. It's at the bottom of my island, which can be reached by going to warp taco and falling until you're at 20m above the void.

edit: this image shows the base redstone and the guide grid underneath. a layer of water channels to conduct the pumpkins is next.

 

The servers aren't going down.

i have designed a 3x3 auto farm that uses 9 stacks of pistons not including needing close to a stack of hoppers i will need. my design is similar to cobalts.
