Well, as you can see, my name is no longer purple. I have resigned from a staff position because I felt it was right for the server. I also felt that I needed some free time on my hands as I head into the job that will most likely be my career. Also, this thread shouldn't discourage anyone in becoming a moderator. This is just a thread about why I resigned. I wish you all luck on your applications and future promotions if you are on the staff team. Why did I resign? 1). The main reason is that I will be attending two schools soon. One of those is regular old high school. The second one is EMT school. If you don't know what an EMT is, check the text below. Anyways, I attend high school for 6-8 hours everyday, Monday thru Friday like most teens. EMT school is different. It will be more stressful for me as I am younger. It takes 4 months, 3 nights a week, 4 hours a day. In some schools, if you fail one test, you are kicked out. The squad I am a part of is spending money on me so I need to pass the school and get my certification and license. During this school, I will have no free time as I will be studying for high school and then my EMT courses. 2). I feel that I have not been active enough. Many times, I find myself logging into Skyblock and logging out soon after that. It gets a bit boring after a year. I love skyblock and it will always have a place in my heart. I am not leaving if that is what you are getting at . 3). I feel some staff members and players don't appreciate my work. You know who you are if you are one of them . I don't feel the same love as I felt when I was first promoted and I feel as if I have drifted away from the team more than I should have. I haven't truly been connected with the team in a while. Yes, I still talked to all of them here and there but not too frequently. Will you ever be a mod again? Of course I would love to, however, that's easy to say. I don't know if I will have time to do it. But, only time can answer that part. I am not too sure if I would ever be considered for a staff position after resigning. Cyp, if you read this, it wasn't to hurt your team or betray them but a personal issue. If time allows it and Cyp reconsiders it, I would absolutely love to be on the team again but I don't see that coming in the near future. Please, don't leave us! I have absolutely no intentions on leaving skyblock. I may be less active but I won't leave. I felt I would be too inactive to fulfill the position. You are too young to be an EMT. If you have said that about me now, you would be correct. Say it in a little while, you would be wrong. I am a junior EMT. I am certified in BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR, and First Aid. Once I reach the age of 16, I will take EMT school and become a full EMT. As of now, I go on standvys. attend drills and meetings, do work details and hang out with the cool people at the squad. If you have any more questions about what I do, feel free to message me . An EMT is a Emergency Medical Technician. If you still don't know what that is, it's the people who ride in the ambulances . Good luck with everything bud. I finished up my EMT training + Certs a few months ago. A buddy of mine just finished his as well, you'll enjoy it, but be prepared to work your butt off. Thanks for all the hard work you put in. C:
