Just wanted to start a small discussion about a fairly interesting topic

Do you think people buy banners just to resell them for more grass, or do you think they genuinely buy them to decorate their home? Or what do YOU do when you buy banners, if you even buy them at all.

I'm ngl, the only time I ever purchase banners, is when I want to restock my shop and resell them, as that is my prime source of grass for now other than my trade shop. Hbu?

 

Banner shops are cancer.

Banners are hardly profitable idk why anyone would buy to resell.

 

Honestly only when I was a non donor did I care about banners and found it cool to collect them. I'd tried to collect as many as I could lol.

But honestly I found it boring now to buy them or use them. I mostly would just hang them up and display them. You can see my collection if you really want (idk if the island is open) at /visit Supapah.

 

TBH I really don't care for banner shops. They take hard work to run and there barely profitable! There just like god items, all of the greenies want them but there is really no point in them.

 

They are better for early users in my opinion

Couldn't really compare them to god items as god itmes that aren't tools are practically useless. I only still have my shop for smaller earnings.

I used to collect them, but I gave them away to greenies when they asked for items.

 

I used to have a banner shop and sell them all the time, and collected them since I thought they were rare. After a couple months after I joined, I found out banners were approximately worth 1 grass.

 

I know all the banner bases, so I am currently running a very successful small bannershop. The reason I buy banners is to add more to my shop. All I need to do is buy one banner one time, then just use banner bases when I resell it. I may buy one banner for one grass. But once I resell that same banner over and over for one grass, my profit gets larger and larger and I end up earning far more than I spent.

 

When I'm feeling particularly charitable I'll completely buy out a greenie or two just to make them feel good. Barely costs me more than a stack of grass usually.

 

When I was a greenie I usually ran my friend's banner shop to get grass, but now I don't really use banners anymore. Sometimes I occasionally buy a few just for fun to decorate my island but I don't buy them very often.

 

Try banner trading, should be cheaper. Trade you're stock for other stock you don't have, can be a win, win.

Banners cause Island lag, take up much space and don't sell for much Profit. Also, those banner rows are ugly. I never traded them, even as an utter noob greenie. It reminds me somehow of the schoolyard sticker trading.

 

ya but like as a smol greenbean, i owned this megamegamega banner shop and i was so proud of myself for it and I worked so hard on it and it was the only way for me to earn grass. i would always buy other peoples just to sell them myself
