I am going to start off with this application by thanking everyone who is thanking time out of their day to read this! A Little bit about myself: I am a 13 year old male from California, USA, and I am a club swimmer. I have had a history of bad health problems with nausea and stomach aches. The good news is that I'm getting better. I am a regular student, up until I started missing school, and am an overall nice and funny person. I do not like the idea or the action of lying, therefore I don't lie. There was a situation at school where I was talking when I wasn't supposed to be, and when my teacher asked what I was doing and I simply said "Talking to my friends". I know that I am not well known, but I want to put myself out here, and I think that that is what moderating is all about! In my future I plan to be a software designer, and I know plenty of things about GroupManager and Bukkit. Your in-game name: My In game name is PlatypusMan411. Which Timezone are you in?: I am currently in (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada) Which language(s) do you speak?: Right now I only speak English, but I plan to learn Spanish in high school. Have you ever been banned?: I have been banned 1 time and I have never been muted. On any server. I got banned because I bridged to another island and took everything there. I have learned from my mistakes and hope to teach other people of what I did and how to make sure that they don't do it as well. Why do you think you should be a mod?: I think that I should be a mod for the reasons below: - I always give people the benefit of the doubt, and try not to escalate the situation. -I am a really mean and not fu- Just kidding xD, I am a really nice, generous, and funny person that tries to look at the positive side of things -If the time comes where there is a greifer, looter, scammer, etc... I am more than able to handle it in a calm, polite, and well-manored attitude. Here are some of the traits that I posses: Funny: I am a funny person that enjoys a good laugh and a good attitude. Generous: I give the person the benefit of the doubt even if they are caught. Experienced- I know many things about Bukkit, and GroupManger, and a little abput moderating. Serious- When the time comes I am ready to work to the end, whether its building, moderating, anything along those lines. Platypus- I have a bill... How long can you be active on the server a day?: Here is my schedule. This is not accurate for every day becuase of vacation, trips, outting, etc.. Sunday: 6-8 hours Monday:3-6 hours Tuesday 5-7 hours Wednesday- Thursday: 6+ hours Friday 7-9 hours Saturday: 10 hours at very most I am going to Hawaii, up the state, and the US Virgin Islands this summer, therefore I might not be able to moderate as much, or as long as I said up there. Do you have any past experience as a moderator?: Yes. I am currently trying for a moderator on a KitPVP server, called <edit>, and I am an admin on my friends small factions server. I've seen PlatypusMan411 in game helping the mods sssooo much!He is a great person and I think he should be a mod.
It's a nice application. I haven't seen you helping, but I'm not going to discount you for that, considering our timezones are fairly far apart. However, you are a new forum member, and because I have no chance to see you in-game, I am having to base a lot of my judgement of how you act on the forums. So, I'm not going to support, but I'm not not going to support. I'm just going to stand back and watch and think a bit more.
I have seen u help out so much. I basically see you every where helping people. I hope you become a mod. SUPPORT for dayz.
