    Hello, here i have compiled a list of small and annoying bugs that still bug down the Economy experience.

    I did not find anywhere else on this forum for this.

    1. On new player islands, when night arrives, it remains night indefinitely. Players do not know how to fix this, due to them being new. Most common question is: how do i get day on my island?

    2. Locked islands cause endless issues for being a neighbor. Their borders are invisible, also often capturing and trapping flying players within. Using actual vanilla border feature would fix this.

    3. Don't allow /checkblock to report on locked island, as you already disallow popup from telling owner of said islands.

    4. Certain low value items from crates have different NBT from craftable or other source items. Example is Diamond pickaxe, which cannot be sold in /shop due to this. Remove common item customisation from crates or other reward sources.

    5. Growing trees on island border doesn't allow tree growth due to possibility of leaves spawning in neighboring island. Change this to simply cull leaves instead. Not a huge annoyance, but annoyance none the less.

    6. No fallback message for new joins to announce 'you last logged in x days ago' leading to some funny interactions.

    7. Bees fly diagonally towards North West when in void, slowly spiralling down. Clamp bee Ai not to fly above void (if possible).

    8. Sometimes food is going down even when player is just stationary. I was unable to find and recreate the scenario.

    9. vote4.skyblock.net sometimes doesn't register in game. Happened to me, RocketTam reported being unable to get all votes every month. The same voting site also sometimes throw an error on first try, but succeeds on second try. Generally this site is buggy and causes loss of votes.

    10. I'm aware this one is very very hard to fix, but the low TPS causes cobblestone generators, when used with low tier pickaxes, to glitch very badly, throwing unusually large amount of blocks into lava, discouraging new players, likely most common cause of premature quitting. One way to fix this is by simply including enchanted iron or plain diamond pickaxe in starter chest, at least, until we resolve this issue.

    11. New players feel very lonely on a busy server. It's very confusing and players feel deceived. I'd like to recommend an [afk] tag that automatically toggles after 30 minutes of stationary and chat inactivity, allow players to toggle [afk] on with /afk. Basically improve the AFK transparency.

    12. Not knowing whether player can modify island they visit, causes potential accidental deaths. Add a warning message when visiting. (player damage enabled) below the welcome message. Not much of an issue for new players, but being added to more and more islands, this becomes quite an issue.

    13. Due to low TPS, elytra flight after seemingly soft landing still can result in death. As a solution, disable elytra impact damage.

    14. No interactive dialogue on potentially destructive /settings items. Small warning below the item name often isn't enough, especially when accidentally toggling something. (personally accidentally enabled crop trampling, which i never knew i did until someone trampled mine).

    15. /vote command brings up clickable menu, but also ads chat items. When clicking again, it spawns duplicate. While quite nitpicky, still a bit jarring, as player cannot click on the chat items while vote window is open. Solution would be - no chat popup when typing /vote.

    16. Another nitpickery, but really, beacons being the endgame items that they are, their presence in /shop is quite devaluing. Recommendation: remove beacon from /shop. Leave them as they are with traders.

    17. Explosive quest complete sound. Startles the heck out of me every time. Much louder than other Minecraft sounds, happen suddenly during dangeorus activities. Just use a nicer, calmer, gentler sound please =).

    18. Settings and preferences. Very confusing. Just override settings with preferences and add 'island settings' button there.

    19. All of the quest and challenge cheeses. These just punish new players unnecessarily. Do the necessary balancing acts to prevent excessive damage in quest completion ability to compensate for removal of cheese strategies. Also don't require 25 potions crafted, rather do 24, so we don't have to do a single potion craft to finish it off. (8x3=24).

    20. When inventory is too full during opening crates or /kit, the items simply vanish. Change this to appear in /lostitems.

    21. Chest shops and 2 plugin issue. New chestshops are amazing, but old ones seem to be stuck in due to /quests still requiring them. Either remove the quests involved or update them to new shops.

    22. Bedrock client unable to buy from the new shops.

    23. Bats. They don't contribute to the gameplay, but do, to server lag. At least add a bats spawning toggle if some players would like them to still be present on their islands.

    24. Fixation on disabling enemy AI. I'd rather see TPS lag reduction strategies elsewhere. Enemy AI has very severe gameplay impact beyond any other strategies currently present. Solution: Completely disabled AI from spawners, but not from natural spawns. Limit spawns per chunk greatly to reduce viability of mob grinders. Potentially smart neighboring chunk mob cap detection, if neighboring chunk mob count exceeds spawn limit, don't spawn in this chunk.

    25. Client compatibility. No way for new players to know that 1.20.6 and above clients will crash on islands containing certain crash triggers, such as glowsquid. Add join message warning, recommended versions - 1.19 -1.20.4.

    26. Instead of soft locking Xray use on other player islands, find means of killing ability of it's use alltogether. This can be a very serious issue in certain scenarios.

    27. Cross platform information fragmentation and outdated information. Please try to clean these up and don't send players to various different platforms for important server usage information.

    28. No AH purchases history currently present. This would be amazing for reminding players who they bought what from, in cases of potential disputes.

    29. /shops find owned [block] price order is messed up on very heavily stocked items, for example, stone. Auto order the list based on lowest price/item if stock is above 0. Additionally delist shops on locked islands.

    30. Unused dead islands. Introduce minimum required island level to retain island past 30 days of player not joining. Once minimum level is achieved, whitelist the island in non delete system. For example, if player's island is below level 50, and player is not online for more than 30 consecutive days, island gets removed along with player data, freeing the space both on server island grid and in server player data.

    31. Lastly, the spicy one. Lack of punctuality to preset schedule. Top voters and monthly events especially come to mind. It is nearly July and our last top voter thread is in April. Fix suggestion - more staff members with administration privileges.


    If this list is incomplete, which I'm 100% sure it is, feel free to expand on it. Also feel free to correct any errors I might have made. These are simply from one player's perspective of playing Economy for 8 months.

    sorry i didnt read all of this but ive read more than half of them but for number 8 hunger going down is due to the server being set on hard mode for the world and if you dont have a full hunger your food will go down even when stationary/afk and you can die of starvation but thats a vanilla feature

    also this shouldnt just be for eco it should be for both survival too
    i do agree with this one and should be added on both eco and survival

    this one too very good

    i have had some bedrock players not able to and some are i think its just a mobile thing tho pc and console are still able to tho

    but this i have got islands that are at level 0 still and would hate for them to be deleted i do see where you coming from but i feel like something else should be implemented instead of just island level
    i thought someone made a suggestion on this topic but i cant seem to find it where if you haven't done much on your island its put in a save state but the island placement is up for grabs for active/new players if that makes sense

    Considering that you are an active player and log in more than once every 30 days, you wouldn't have to do anything really. Also if you're able to build on someone else's island that was unconditionally given to you, you could get those levels quickly by placing couple expensive blocks on said island, also giving players transitional time, like 6 months, to reach compliance with their unleveled islands.

    Unfortunately minecraft doesn't support multiple world borders, so diagonally neighbouring locked islands would only show one border instead of two.

    This was stated to be intended, I think by crew himself

    The presence of beacons in /shop has long predated the wandering trader, and the price difference between /shop and the wandering trader is quite appropriate to prevent excessive price gouging.

    A suggestion was already made for this and I believe it was declined or dismissed.

    /kit will not be redeemed if your inventory is too full, and a message appears on screen. I they should make it the same with vote rewards, except before the key is rolled it should check if your inventory has ~6 slots free (or whatever the max reward is). /lostitems has always been for illegal to trade items.

    This server prides itself in not having resets or having players lose their progress (even though multiple resets have happened in the past). Storage is cheap and having a larger world adds virtually no additional computational struggle.

    I doubt anyone who played couple hours, made a cobblestone generator and quit, would even remember they did that past 30 days prior.

    I don't really see what benefit it would bring. And there will be many edge cases such as players joining for a drop party and go on to place a rare head on an otherwise default island which would end up being removed.

    that being said at lest 1 or 2 of my islands that are level 0 are on accounts that haven't logged in in over 30 days but yes i could easily add levels on them it wouldn't be hard if this was implemented

    Good example, solution: + 50 is levels for each rare head (not mob heads) placed.

    While it is true, large world overhead is very little (still exists though), various plugin data stores do absolutely increase overheads especially when invoking commands that search through those lists. From my elytra activities, at least 20/21 islands would disqualify from being kept in my surrounding island area. The reduction in player data lists would be enormous.

    that's not how vanilla borders work
    enchanted with what? a custom telekinesis enchantment?
    how do you propose this? it's very expensive to raytrace every player's view to hide invisible blocks
    it has already been said automation is in the works
    makes it extremely difficult to get multi-island sets without adding even more unused islands.

    Just efficiency so blocks break faster.

    I don't really have any for this one. However big servers ban and enforce X-raying. Not been in the scene since obfuscator.

    I doubt multi island would be a priority when culling dead player/island overhead. It's still doable though. Also gives opportunity for players for another chance to join their friends next door.
