I recently hopped onto teamspeak, to find people playing and going "I f*****g pushed Larry of the edge" or things like that. My point is, I am not that mad at the people swearing, more the moderators in the channel that did nothing whatsoever. I really don't think it's great when there can be kids ages any age hearing this sort of language from older players, and nothing being done to show them it's not right.
If there is a problem, just message or poke one of the moderators on teamspeak. We'll deal with it. Larry, Crusader, and I are on most of time.
We're not robots we do not monitor everything that's going on. If you heard swearing in chat report it to a moderator and they will deal with it because like I said we do not see nor hear everything.
People curse all the time. Yes, it's a kids place. But they chose to be there, they have to accept it.
Well, usually the ones cursing are kids younger than us. But, they probably mean no harm. Probably just so used to cursing, they say it all time.
As far as I'm concerned team speak is more causal then the appropriate chat we have in game. Unless there is a lot of swearing then it's not too much of an issue. At this point it's up to parents to listen to what their kids are saying and teaching them not to swear. The moderators will do their job to ensure it doesn't get out of hand
Sure i see quite a bit of swearing but not so much that a moderator needs to come and sort it out Teamspeak is a place to be funny and hang with friends not like in game.
If you're mature/old enough to want to talk to strangers with a microphone, you're probably mature enough to handle swearing. Most of the younger people on the server don't go on the teamspeak channels, and besides, like what Krissy said, it's up to the childrens' parents to monitor what they are saying.
