The Odds Cyp has listet are mathematically impossible. Don't blame him: it could be how his plugin is set up.

Since the rare keys are... rare, noone will probably be able to use a significant amount of them in order to make a statistic like Myrm made for the regular vote keys. So we need the contrubution of the community to regulary drop by this thread whenever one of those keys is used and fill in that Survey.

•reads post• Ah, I see. The data you get from that survey will be garbage, too many people will lie or troll. Myrmwife and I are already tracking our personal results from using both Vote Crates, you can find them here: Vote Crate Spreadsheet - The bottom left corner has the Rare Crate results (scroll down).

The sample size here is ridiculously small so don't take anything as "proof" one way or another. At the current rate of key acquisition it will take roughly another fourteen months to even start to get a solid baseline. Less if we can collect results from trustworthy people (of which there are very few).

I just wanted to point out a suggestion as to why the odds seem mathematically impossible. First of all, here is the list of odds.

If I am correct, you are saying that they are mathematically impossible, because al of them added up is more than 100%. I think that what Cyp means by these chances are that it is possible to get for example, 3 grass blocks and a diamond pick, or some other combination. I think it means that for example, you are garunteed at least 3 grass, and have the following chances of winning each individual item. Again though, this is just a suggestion. I am most likely completely wrong xD.

As for any Survey. It can Show a tendency, never a truth. But therefore it needs heaps and heaps of data, so eventually troll and lie can be ignored (except for the 7 beacons out of 24 keys I already got XD).

I see you have used 37 keys already, but None of them got you anything worth what the keys are actually traded for

BTW if you trust me for the data you can add 1x 3 Grass and x 3 Stacks of Stone on your sheet

AFAIK, no one ever got multiple Drops from one single key.

 

Myrmidous I was looking at your sheet.... is it .ORG or .NET, or maybe both? Also on Cyp's post I don't see there is a possibility to win 32 Nether Quartz.

meh that's what you'd get probably from 2 minutes breaking Stone, right? So far the results are disappointing.

I updated the OP as I've come to the conclusion that since the only Thing that'd make the keys really valuable are the beacons, we Need legit Information on that. So if someone really got a beacon I'd require him to identify himself, gladly also by PM if discretion is requested. The heaps of beacons stated in the Surveys cannot be taken seriously. If someone really won a beacon, I'll state it in the OP.

 

Should request screen shots of beacon winnings unless source is reputable.
