just would like to let everyone know that i didn't even know who played yesterday nor did i know what a touchdown is, i feel like its important to note that I'm American :radiorebel:
all I know is that tom brady deflates footballs no joke that's all I know (seriously how does the scoring work)
idk and honestly idk who tom brady is like in he plays football but that's literally it, like i have no interest in it so I'm never gonna watch but its so entertaining hearing people talk abt it when you have no clue whats going on like i genuinely only know the saints and cowboys exist.
Im pretty sure the scoring system is based on taking turns from running a certain position from one side to the other, football has a lot of conditions and there's moves that teams can make like punt kicking (but the aim is to get the ball inside of the touchdown field, I'm pretty sure this grants you extra points) I myself am not the biggest football know-it-all so ask my dad I'm sure he knows
in 2016 tom brady ordered his footballs to be deflated (like the same way you inflate them i think, but they lose air instead of gaining). after some research, it turns out that the footballs "appeared to be coated in a tacky substance and seemed spongy or soft when squeezed," but only when the patriots (tom's team) had the ball. Basically, he altered the footballs of his team to give his team an advantage in catching. and the only reason I know this is bc I saw the snl skit
allegedly brady said that but its never been proven the tacky substance was on gloves and now all players have it (not a brady fan)
