My username is iTestify. So I'm pretty much screwed now that people can't use the word "test" in a command.
Would it be possible for them to put a bypass for my full username on /visit or something?

No, I'm not in a coop, and I'd rather not be.
I've had the same name handle for almost 6 years, I'd really rather not change it for one server.. :/

I am not sure what is going on. This is new to me. I know a friend who doesn't have the ability to /visit others for some reason, but I never heard of this before.

 

I think it just happened today. Something to do with commands with the word "test" in them will crash the console. Some noobs were trying to, apparently? So now, anytime someone tries to /visit iTestify or /msg iTestify, you get an error message that won't let you. So I'm essentially marooned by myself on my island, unless I want to individually tp everyone over, which sucks when I'm trying to start a trade shop lol

Issue confirmed, that is the weirdest message I have ever received:

The only way I can think this would be fixable is if they found the permission for the test command and gave everyone the negative node, which I can't find the node for in essentials logs so I'm not sure where to look further (meaning that it may not be an Essentials issue but possible a minecraft issue). If they do manage to find it, then they could remove the word test from the filter and you'd be good to go.
My only other suggestion would be a trusted person to be your coop.

I'm going to continue searching to see if I can find a node for the test command, but I really do suggest finding someone you can trust as a coop if you want a work around as even if I find the node getting Cyp to fix it up might take a bit. I understand your reservations about wanting a coop though.
