Hello Mr. Exstatisfy , I am Quietus, and I will be appealing on behalf of Stel who is currently forum banned.

• Server name (.net / .org ): Stel was banned on the forums.
• In-game name: Her forum name is Stel
• Full exact Ban Message: She was banned for violating rules.
• Did you read the rules? Yes, we have both read the rules multiple times.
• Why do YOU think you were banned? Stel was banned for apparently threatening to dox me.
• Was this an incorrect ban? Yes this was an incorrect ban. Stel did not dox, nor threaten to dox me. We are close friends who joke around. The entire dox just details my being of a swine.
• Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? We have both been banned several times for multiple reasons in the past.
• Why do you think you should be unbanned? I believe Stel should be unbanned because this has been a misunderstanding. She did not dox or threaten to dox me. It was an obvious joke, though it is understandable how one could misinterpret the situation. However no dox (threat) took place, and I see no reason why if even I, the supposed victim, is appealing on behalf of Stel, should this ban continue.

Please do not archive this appeal due to it being a duplicate. There are no other currently open appeals at the moment.

 

I'm referring to the appeal I already denied. I stated my reasons there and will state them again;

Just because you have "permission" to dox someone, doesn't mean you can post it on a forum that specifically does not allow that.

Unless this "permission" comes from one of the owners himself, it doesn't matter.


As a moderator, we aren't going to search through for "permission" of someone breaking a rule.

That's like someone committing a murder, and when arrested tells the cop that they had permission. It's not ok, it's common sense.

 

She didn't dox me. This is like a cop arresting someone for not doing anything.

She was banned for dox threats, which is something not taken lightly.

Please re-read this quote below.

I'm not going to look at something and wonder if it's a joke or not.

Things as serious as dox threats should not be joked around about.
If you both had already read the rules (as stated in your appeal) then you know that doxing is NOT ok.

 

It was quite obviously a joke. No one would go up to someone they're doxing and asks for permission. Especially since Stel and I are close friends who talk on a daily basis. And the fact there was permission means it longer is a dox threat, which is not against the rules.

 

This screenshot clearly shows a dox thread.

What you are failing to understand is, joke or not, it's NOT ok.
So you can emphasize how much a joke it is, it changes nothing.

And I've already addressed what you said in the end.

This is my final say on this;
Stel has read the rules many times, and knows what's ok and what's not.
She did something that is blatantly against the rules, and got punished for it. Simple as that.

I have no intention of changing my mind, with that being said I will be closing this appeal. Please don't post anymore appeals regarding this issue.
