I think new players should receive a small amount of grass blocks as it is difficult to get items to start building. Especially if you know nothing about the game. Maybe each player when they start should receive 5-10 grass to start with in their chest? I feel like this would give new players a good chance to build.

 

I like this idea to be honest. It’s hard to gather resources and you can get up to 4 grass only from voting (3 from 3 links and 1 if you sell your vote keys). It’s not always confirmed if you receive good prizes from voting.

As well as there isn’t a /daily on survival and because of the current rates, it’d be unfair to have one because we only receive 300$ from /daily on economy. If they would, maybe bump the economy daily value to 500 or so to make it a bit fair.

The downside I see:
I think 5-10 grass is way too much and as well as if this is in every starter chest, this will encourage island farming. Players may just restart their island for grass and not even for dirt or buckets and that would have the rules changed.

If every new player is spawned with 1-5 grass only when they join and it isn’t given out whenever a new island is created, I think that would be much better. I would also make it so new players’ inventory don’t clear so they do not lose their grass.

I’m neutral on the actual suggestion as it’s a good idea but there are a bit of a downside on it.

 

they cant add this because u can buy like 1000 acc for 1 dollar then hop em on and for a few hours of work get 5000-10000 grass which is kinda ridiclous

 

I would have to disagree with this concept entirely. The first few days of owning an island is fleshing out your area and farming trees and cobble anyway. If you can connect to the server you can also go vote with will give you some free grass the first day. This already allows you to skip cobble farming and even tree farming. By the time you have things built up how you’d like it should likely be a new day and then you can just vote again. Which allows you to get more things. Personally I saved all my grass from voting from the first 3 weeks and didn’t buy anything and just worked on expanding the normal way, by the time I had expanded I had a decent small fortune and was able to do what I wanted and start a business and make money that way.
