I was curious. If I had a designated 7x7 area for my spawner, would the mobs spawn outside if that are?

 

Spawners spawn mobs even with it turned off in the /settings for your island

 

I know that. I was asking basically asking if they would spawn outside of the 7x7 radius.

 

Depends where they are in the radius, if I’m not mistaken spawners spawn mobs up to 4 blocks away vertically in a direction and 1 block away horizontally in either direction

 

Oh! and I think if the mob you are spawning is passive (like pig, sheep or that sort) you gotta have grass around the spawner.

U also need mycelium for mooshrooms to spawn instead of grass I think
