This is probably a super simple fix but I've asked a few people and we can't figure out why this isn't working. I have only one spawner and placed it recently in a well lit grassy area. I have changed my settings to "spawn animals". Yet I have nothing. *Screenshot attatched* Please let me know what I need to change. Thanks! upload_2018-5-28_19-38-2.png

I'm definitely not a expert when it comes to spawners but maybe try moving the spawner up one block? I think it may need to be leveled with the grass. Again I'm not to sure but I think it requires the grass to be flat with a bit more space to the right-hand side of the picture as well as removing the log and water.

To spawn (most) passive animals, you need a block of grass under a spawner. If you put that in it should sort it out.

Thanks I tried your way out and it started to work but now I have to move my spawner up one block to make it efficient. Do you know if I need to get a Mod to move the spawner or can I just silk touch pick it?

You can pick spawners with a silk touch pickaxe so no need for a mod.
