How long can you be active on our platforms everyday? It depends. I work weekdays and some weekends a month. I cannot say for certain I'll be able to get on every day but I play for longer durations when I get on. When did you first join Skyblock? I first started playing classic in late 2013 on a different account, but I joined as Sourss in 2014 and have played on and off ever since. I go through periods where I am more active and I've started playing more again in the last few months. Have you ever been banned on any platform? Yes, on my other account in 2013. I appealed and got unbanned. It was so many years ago that I don’t remember the reason. Do you have any past moderation experience? Yes. I was a mod on the network Minehut in 2016 but resigned after it underwent changes. Also in 2016 I became a mod on Blockmania which is the server that belongs to NameMC, I am currently an admin on NameMCs website, discord and minecraft server. Why do you think you should become a staff member? I have years of experience moderating. I am fair but thorough, and I enjoy it. It gives me a reason/purpose other than simply wanting to play on a server to stay active. Skyblock was one of the first servers I joined that I still play on to this day and I would consider myself an experienced player. I had many friends a few years ago that made me want to go online every single day, but a lot of them are not active anymore. I’ve seen a few that, like me, have come back from a longer hiatus and it’s always fun to reminisce but if I was a helper there would be other factors motivating me to go online other than hoping to see old friends. I want to get integrated in the community again. I have thought about applying many times. Most of this application was written over a year ago, but other things came up which gave me less free time. I’m writing this and publishing it now because I am able to prioritize being active and manage my time more freely. Some qualities I possess~ Experienced I have many years of experience as a helper, mod and admin across different networks. As mentioned, I enjoy moderating. It gives me a reason to stay active and I believe that I am good at it. I believe I have gotten good at it partly because I think it is fun and I therefore put time and effort into doing it, and also because I have had years in the role to learn and grow as a person. I have formed my own style but I still consider myself to be adaptable and a team player. I value criticism and am open to new ideas, something I believe is important in real life as well as online. Mature As an (most likely) older player than the average on here, I think I have a good understanding of the rules and a distinct sense for what is acceptable and what is not in a way inexperienced/younger players do not. That is why I believe I am qualified to be a helper on the server and moderate chat. Dedicated I’ve played skyblock on and off for almost 10 years now and I always find myself coming back. I have thought about applying many times before but it has never been the right timing in my life. I even translated the rules to Swedish back in 2015, read that here. When I dedicate myself to something, I commit to it and strive to be the best and most efficient I can be at it. I’m a fast learner and I don’t think it would take a lot of time or resources to show me the tasks of a helper. I would like to be a more integral part of the server I grew up playing on and help give players as good of an experience on and impression of Skyblock as I have. But you’re an admin on another network already, why should you become staff on here? The tasks on the other network and what I imagine are helper/mod duties on Skyblock are very different. The other network is not a survival server, there is no need to make sure players aren’t cheating to get resources. The tasks mostly consist of answering questions in game or on discord, and that I have plenty of experience with. Sure, I might not be able to focus all of my free time on here, but I believe the time I would spend on helping players out would still be valuable. Thanks for your input. I don't have a ton of total time on either server compared to others who have played for several years. Classic was my favourite server and the one I played on the most but I plan on being more active on survival, eco and discord.
Your activity is the only thing Im concerned about. Main whatever server you want but you gotta know the mechanics and the people.
We have enough inactive staff as it is, and due to your (lack of) activity I can’t really reason with myself if I choose to support. I know you well enough to immediately support if your activity was up to par. At this stage at least I’ll remain neutral because I really do want to see you improve the activity and be what the players expect from a staff member.

I honestly think you’d be a perfect fit for the team. Even though you have not been active for months, I’ve seen tou being very active on all platforms during the past weeks. Furthermore I think you’re professional and you seem like a lovely person and I’m excited to getting to know you even more. But from what I’ve seen, I do support you. I do not see coming back and applying immediately is an issue, as I believe this is a longer process and this shows you’re interested in the role of staff. Best of luck! never liked you anyways
