(i was told that i should make this a thread instead of a status) How come people only acknowledge you if you have a rank? Isn't it kind of stupid that you have to buy people's respect? A thing that I have noticed, is that this applies more to the survival server, than the economy server. (hey bossofall98 ur cool) Also, is it just me or does noboby want to pay 50USD to be able to look cool in chat? Theres literally a rank for 200 dollars! Probably gonna get some people disliking me for this thread, but hey, those are most likely the people act like I dont exist anyways .
There are a lot of greenies that come and talk rubbish and don’t hang around long. Drogo has helped greenies out, investing time and gifting resources only to never see that player online. Perhaps a colour change to greenies name tag once they hit 10 hours play time might be a good idea.
I find this false, take for example player Gumblefunk, they made a name for themselves by what? Playing the game and interacting with the community. They are what some people call a greenie. And one of the main players I looked up to when I was a greenie, seeing their island and how they were only a greenie encouraged me to the point where I knew I could be someone with a rank. And then someone randomly entered me into a giveaway that SuperDave was hosting and I received my first rank which was Skylord. TL : DR - You don’t need a rank to be noticed or “become” someone on the server.
You don't need a rank to be someone on the server. One of the main reasons "greenies" are disliked is you never know if they just quit or if they're gonna just break rules or troll to get banned just cause they don't like the server and only came to ruin others' time. Getting a rank just shows that you've spent time/money on the server. I don't know anyone who'd spend money or tons of hours on something they'd never get back to. Although there are a few members who NEVER got a rank for all the time they've been on skyblock. A couple of these players that I've come to know and are very great members of skyblock are talisbar and test263. Talisbar has the greatest iron shop in all of skyblock, he is very well known for never having a rank. Test263 worked his way up to his current rank, skylord. (Btw, you can also get ranks by purchasing from the shop using monthly gcs won by voting at the end of every month. If you cant vote every day of the month or don't end up getting anything, you can buy from other players at the price of 1$-->1 stack of grass.)
Personally I really just don't see people talk in chat when I'm busy building. But it also depends on how you present yourself as a player/new player. There are a lot more non-ranked players who spam chat and keep asking questions, even if someone already gave them an answer. I don't care about ranks and will be happy to help anyone, I just don't tend to see chat (scaled down to 50%)
Here on the Skyblock Network we listen to everyone's opinions with open ears! None are discriminated in the slightest. Fellow player and philanthropist Triggered would wholly agree.
Yes. User above is correct. Here on the SkyBlock Network, every user is accepted regardless of playtime, rank, and networth. Please, user TannerTheOne , do not get the ideology of discrimination being conducted within the Network, for this is not true. You are and will always be heard. Rise Tanner, for there is lots to be spoken with open ears guarding you!
I think there could be something greenies get...like to be able to use color codes in chat...for example when they have already played a specific time. They are hardly noticable in chats where everyone writes in colors, but hey.. there is a reason to buy a rank
