First of all welcome. I decided to make this thread because I see many people asking the same questions over an over in chat, and figure this may help a bit.
This is more a tutorial on the features on .org and not the answer to all your questions.

How do I set up a shop?
One of the goals for most people on .org is to create a shop to provide items for other players, and, more importantly, make some money. Shops on .org work through the use of signs and chests below (or above) them to store the items being sold. To start, place the chest that you plan on storing the product in on the ground. Then above (or below) it place a sign. Fill out the sign in this fashion
Line 1: Blank
Line 2: Amount you want to sell
Line 3: Price you are selling for
Line 4: Item you are selling (you can use a name or the item ID number)

After you've typed this in, click the Done button.
Through some server magic, your sign will then change to this:

Congratulations, You've set up your first shop! Now continue this for each of the items you wish to sell. Don't forget to put the product in the chest underneath, otherwise when someone tries to buy you shop will be listed as "out of stock" and you'll lose a customer (and the money they could have paid you).

Now that you have a shop set up, you need a way to get your customers to your shop. You need a warp. Creating a warp is actually just one command away. First find a good location for your warp to be. If you've created an "entrance" for your shop, you already have a perfect place for the warp. Once you've found the location make sure you're facing the right direction since players will warp in facing the direction (North, South, East, or West) you were facing when you created the warp.
Then press t (or the key you've linked to chat) and type in /setwarp [your warp name]

Now that you've done that head over to the shops section of the forum (Shops | Skyblock Forums) and create a thread for your store. Be sure to read Zambiana's post about what to include in your thread.

thanks, that's what I intended. I figure it would just make easier for many people. Of course the people who are asking the questions probably aren't going on the forums

I don't doubt you, but I can't find it in this section of the forums. I also felt that it would be useful to create a thread that addressed both shops and warps since they are things that often come together. I also feel that screenshots are very useful to understanding how things work, and that's a major reason I made this.
