My minecraft account has been hacked due to an incredibly weak password. If I do anything that seems out of the ordinary, please ignore it.

Also if I can, how do I get my username back? Sorry for anything that happens on my account. He also logged me out, though I know the e-mail it's hooked up to.

Well unfortunately there is nothing that we can do to get your account back. You may try to get in touch with Mojang and provide enough proof that the account was compromised. If you believe that the person that hacked it will get on the server and do illegal things, I am most certain you can request a ban.

 

May I ask how I get in touch with mojang and how I provide enough proof? I don't frankly use stuff like that so I don't know how to do this.

To provide enough proof, I am guessing you have to tell them and show that your account is linked to the email that you purchased Minecraft with. There are probably other ways you can prove that you own account that I am not aware of.

Thanks. If you have anything else that can help please do show me as I've never really looked at my account as something other than a username, so I don't really know much about this subject.

 

Also maybe you guys can suggest new pig related usernames since the hacker also changed the name, and I presume I'm not getting that name back.

 

I don't honestly know. I know that I can most likely recover it within 24 hours, so I feel as if this ban would be pointless as there is no reason for the hacker to go onto skyblock.

 

Update: I have regained control of my account, though I'm not sure if the other person has been kicked off on their side. I have changed my password to something a bit more secure and hopefully not guessable. My username is something different, though I'm planning to change it back, or to another pig related name(willing to take suggestions), which I have multiple ideas for. Thanks for all the help I got from you guys.

I thank the skyblock community for helping me out during this time and hope you use this as an example to upgrade security on your passwords too, as this was done by a bot, and can happen whether you know anybody or not.

Thanks, however I was referring to changing it prematurely, preferably to my old name, as I suspect I was hacked because my name, p1ggy was good name-sniper bait, so I want to get it back before it gets sniped down.

The hacker recently changed my name to auto generated characters and I know for a fact that my name will probably be sniped down before I get it back, so I was wondering if there was any way to undo a name change.

Sorry for not specifying, I was in a bit of a rush.

TLDR: I know about this way to change my name, but what I meant is that the hacker changed my name just today, so it is on cooldown, and I was wondering if I could bypass this in any way.

 

Nope, sadly however, your name is available to other accounts in 37 days but you can change it back in 30 so you can get it not sniped *

Yo, can someone bump this in one week, I am trying to get my name back and will probably forget this due to excessive homework, so a bump would be extremely helpful to me. (My alarm app has a less than 1 week limit.)

When the email was changed on the account you would've received a dispute link to reclaim the account, if you did not, then your email account has also been compromised.
