I think that when villager trades finally get updated their should be a trade to buy snow golem eggs for 2 snow and a pumpkin. The point of this is to be able to fix snow golems in a certain space without having to be able to build in a 3 block high space. Which is good because snow golems keep getting deleted.
a snow golem egg would be client sided, so it's very likely to require mods which will complicate things. Why don't we just have snow in the trade instead?
Neko here's the thing, I encase my golems in a 2 block high place so if they were to get deleted I would have to remove the roof just to place another which is annoying because I use glowstone so I would have to get more dust and do that like 20+ times...
why don't you just use a slab to lower yourself and just trap it with 1 block height without a roof? It works well for me
Because I made them in a 1x1 pen and i want some light but not too much. Plus I use them for towers so it will block their shots...
