When teleporting to shops, if the shop is not on the floor level but above another shop, after teleporting, you drop down to face the block or shop below. There has only been a few times, I've bought the wrong item because I wasn't paying attention to this and there is the potential for scammers to put popular shops above hugely overpriced shops. If possible, it would be great if the teleport could identify the floor level and teleport the player to that while still facing the desired shop sign.
That happend to me yesterday too, i bought a wrong item and it happend to be quite expensive so lost a bit of grass on that This would be a nice addition if possible.
Strong Support. I've seen this happen a few times and this is definitely a form of scamming. In addition to placing the shops above expensive ones, I've seen the "bait shop" at the first slot of /shops find, meaning that the shop owner filled that bait shop, got on an alt, and bought from the shop specifically to put it higher up on /shops find.
And have you used the /shops find owned GUI to teleport to one of these shops? And can you tell me which of these shops sells stairs and which sells slabs.
Left click the signs first It'll say in chat the stocks available and the item being sold. Though I'll agree it's annoying when teleporting to a higher chest and looking at the floor
Yes, I was making a point. It potentially requires more than just reading the sign, but if you can rely on the TP to take you to the correct chest, then you don't need to read or click on the sign.
You can make these arguments about everything? Drogo just wants to simplify the process of using shops find, by making this suggestion. And I believe it’s a great addition and would simplify the process a lot. And not having to left click each sign and hovering my mouse over the chat ^^
I'm in support of the idea, though we can still actually play the game instead of speed through everything and take it for granted. It'll be cool if the shop sign we selected was highlighted with an outline, or if when we visit via the find command we're looking at the sign. Still doesn't take more than a second to check what you're buying before chosing to empty the stock
