Skyblock pet peeves

I was thinking about this today, what is a thing that people do on this server that annoys you the most? (Not an issue with the server itself.)

For me, it’s usually either when a person will use bunch of bots to advertise their discord.
Or when people just generally act annoying/edgy to get attention such as, typing a slur in a way that it gets past the filters.

 

Oh yeah, that’s usually the cause of most of the server drama because it’s harder for people to understand stuff over text.

 

Mini mods. I know they're trying, but honestly do my head in

Real staff members stick out naturally.

 

When staff members invalidate the player's feelings about something because they are so far up the server's.... nvm

 

When people are racist or sexist and think they are to good to get banned

 

when people think they are better than people just because they are a higher rank like why does what rank you have (if any) make you a more valid person I just don’t get it. I don’t personally get affected by this but it still gets on my nerves seeing it. It honesty baffles me

 

When people say offensive or simply terrible things for attention or to distract staff

 

People who constantly show off for no reason, people who think they are above others, mainly.

 

Oh yeah definately awkward when people bring in their drama and problems on here. Powerleveling on the internet is a bad idea if it’s dirty laundry.

Is that because of the muting incident the other day haha

I’ve seen unranked islands that look better than ranked ones so it’s why I don’t judge a book by it’s cover.

 

The ones that keep asking the question when you mentioned their name and answered their question multiple times

 

For me, it's the people who go out of their way to give someone a hard time.

 

To the greybeans who spam messages in private msgs/or they are bots.

When staff requests players to repeat or restate the rules of the server in their own words. It's childish and degrading. Like why is a 15 yr old telling a 20+ year old to restate the rules like they're in preschool. Also players getting banned for building inappropriate things, even tho we all know who created the pink rocket banner.

 

Honestly true, most unranked people islands look better than islands I build bc my building skills are basically non existent. Just because I have a rank doesn’t make me superior, honestly does my head in
