Skyblock Classic Plus 2.1a (SC+) is available for download. SC+ is a map based very closely on the original Skyblock 2.1 map. SC+ was created using Java Minecraft 1.20.1. SC+ differs from the original Skyblock map by: * Adding biomes to the nether * Providing a means to spawn Blazes * Providing access to The End If you play the map, reply to this thread. I'm interested in how you like the map. I'm also open to improvements provided that such improvements maintain the original feel of the Skyblock 2.1 map. Thanks to the original Skyblock 2.1 author who has given permission for me to post this map. Skyblock Classic Plus 2.1a can be downloaded using the following link: Skyblock Classic Plus 2.1a.zip - Google Drive
SC+ 2.1b is available for download. Changelog: 2.1b - Fixed biomes. Previously numerous biomes were mistakenly set to plains, even in the nether - Surrounded the playing area (both The Overworld and The Nether) with bedrock walls. This makes clear the boundaries of the playing area. SC+ 2.1b can be downloaded using the following link: Skyblock Classic Plus 2.1b.zip - Google Drive
SC+ 2.1c is available for download. Changelog: 2.1c - Changed biome in area surrounding nether spawn point from Warped Forest to Nether Wastes so that nether mobs will spawn. SC+ 2.1c can be downloaded using the following link: Skyblock Classic Plus 2.1c.zip - Google Drive
Thank you for this map! I have been playing skybllock 2.1 for a while and was stuck wanting a fortress. been looking for a solution for some days now. i had t sacrifice my nether and probably kept some strange bugs from my old world by copying over the overworld but i will keep me from giving up my progress compleatly.
Hi Plarp. In the 2.1c version of the map, a nether fortress area is visible due east of the nether spawn portal. If you place netherbricks in the fortress area, mobs such as blazes will spawn. I'm currently working on a mod which will offer a Skyblock-like experience in an unbounded world. During map creation the mod will offer the option to create a Skyblock-like world and then will create a new minecraft map using the same seed and layout as a normal map, except of course that everything will be removed except for the starting islands and a few other areas. The mod will be finished probably within a month or so. I've given up on the map-based approach to Skyblock-like world creation because using maps restricts the play area to the confines of a relatively small map and thus cannot provide an open world experience full of all the biomes which minecraft supports.
Thank you for this map You retained the original feel of building towards a small island for a new unlock, in this case an empty end portal and a nether brick with a chest for blazes. I managed to beat it yesterday
