I have no idea how I could help, but I love Skyblock and I fully believe you should get the rights to this.
The fact that the big companies can just infinitely keep it in limbo because they say no is just straight up an abuse of the system, and they really should be penalized for doing it.

 

Agreed. I feel like skyblock is very clearly YOUR idea, and that anyone who says it's "a concept" really dosen't understand how unique skyblock IS.

 

Trademark law was made for preventing exactly the thing that is happening, which is just straight up plagiarism, you deserve all the love

unfortunately, we will all continue to use microsoft services throughout our daily lives. the search engine I use? bing. the browser I use? edge. the OS I use? Windows 11.

 

A person who played MC from my childhood, and skyblock was iconic and the original creator should be given credit!

Are they using Skyblock capitalized? If they are, then they have been referring to it as a name, not a word, for the entire time!

The idea that “Skyblock” is a vague term is absurd, who would ever combine the work sky and block, put sky in front and say “ooo look herobrine, a random skyblock”. Skyblock, like many other brand names, is a combination of already existing words to make a new one, a brand name word.

 

Yeah if you first named Skyblock you should own the name. Any use of the name by anyone else should not matter.

 

ive loved skyblock for many years. i played on old servers, played the original maps, played with friends, even played hypixels version for a few days before realizing i didnt like that one lol. ive also seen many videos of people playing on skyblock and genuinely enjoying it, so i hope you are able to get this trademark you deserve, since a win for you would be a win for us all.

you created skyblock, you should have the right to ask for such a small but rightful thing so people (or rather companies) dont exploid your work for any benefit. Minecraft (and with that Minecraft) should know that one of the main reason the game stays alive are its content creators and should feel the need to support them as such.
