Howdy! First I would like to start by saying how much I have been enjoying playing on skyblock.net Last couple of weeks. Up till now, I have been busy trading for what I need and building my island. I have been doing my daily voting and /ma j for the freebies as well as random killings J which is always fun! However, I realized yesterday that my massive grass farm I had laid down is completely worthless now since silk touch does not work. See I have been saving my grass for good deals and hadn’t tried to trade it away. Well, it appears I can’t do anything with it now other than have a nice green area on my island.

What I wanted to know was if any MOD can swing by my island and take it all up and give me back the grass? Had I known I couldn’t silk touch it up, I would have just locked it up in a chest and never laid it down.

I dont think mods can take grass im afraid

 

Something similar happened to me and a mod said they couldn't take the grass all u will have is dirt im afraid cause grass is unremovable even mods i think ull have take it down at least u got free dirt

 

No one can silk touch grass, youll just have to save up grass blocks again. The reason why silk touch on grass is disabled is because this prevents people farming new islands for the blocks and theyll be legal to trade then due to grass being legal to trade and not plain dirt blocks.

 

As the posts above said, nothing we can do about it. However, I may have some grass, maybe I can give it to you if I have any.

 

Silk Touch has been disabled on Grass for exactly this reason - since Grass is the currency of the server, the admins didn't want to make it possible to have massive "grass farms" where people could essentially, mint server's currency.
