Today I traded with RocketOG, and bought some of his stacked items, which is basically a rare from the old days of skyblock, such as several gold armor in one slot. The deal went through successfully and I put the items in a chest just temporary. I told my irl friend, who I also share rares with, not to touch them. He looking in the chest, and forgot to turn off his hacks, he was then working with some project. Somehow, the chest broke, all the items flew out, non-stacked anymore. We managed to catch them on the ground, but now as just regular gold armor in pieces. This is the second lost of over 300 dias on a week and I am asking for help. You can check chat logs, drop logs anything, I just want to get some form of a refund, both for my water griefed heads (another thread) and for this. Please help
You can ask RocketOG to confirm the trade, you can log the chest I took them from in the first place, go get the chat logs. I am the person who screenshots so I will see if I have some pictures that can help in this case
Im not sure if someone vouching for you would be acceptable proof. But logblocks should work. I probably can donate some diamonds to refund you if I see proof.
I appreciate that, but I am trying to get a smod or even cyp to take the logs, and to try getting a refund. Thanks tho, appreciated.
I know this won't help your case but are stacked items really worth that much? Cause I got 2 diamond pickaxes that are stacked on to each other in a chest in my old island.
Johnnyyy_ if RocketOG has proof of the trade, make him aware of this thread and tell him to attach the proof here, whether it be Screenshots or Video. You would have a much better chance of getting a refund.
As mentioned above, hacking, and the hacks he was using is totally fine and legal. It seems like a very strange explanation but I am sure that logs can confirm that its true, also I heard that Cyp can do a rollback and get us back the items.
Good Luck :3 Remember to always video rares when moving etc. The logs should be on your side but may I ask, when did this happen? The logs will ware out after a while.
I made this thread the same day the incident took place, but now its been a few days. Hopefully the logs will remain still and I'll get a refund of cyp.
the problem with logs is that it will not show whether or not the items were stacked. Do you have screenshots of them?
I trust johnnyyy_ he is a very trustful and nice player he wouldn't lie about this stuff If he says he lost the items he definatly lost it we should tag cyp to check this out and get johnnyyy_'s refund ~Mozzo
I really appriciate your trust for me, but as Kerahna said, and what I was worrying about is that the logs wouldnt work for this. I believe that either chat logs or if RocketOG had some screenshots of the trade will help in this case, as we will need all valid proof we can get. Thanks tho for trying to help me out.
I remember explaining about these items but unfortunately at this point it looks like nothing official can be done by staff.
I will compare this to for example when I accidently placed my end portal frame. Cyp will give us a "refund" on it, but it isn't really a refund, more like keeping the item in the community, other examples can be accidently placed bedrock, end frames or items that cannot be mined in survival.
