Introduction. Let's start off the such termin as "contract". Contract is basically a deal between two sides (two players). Every side sets their own requirements. In case if the requirements of both sides are met, it is called set contract or deal. In case if the requirements of both sides aren't met, it is called not set contract/deal. In case if one side meets requirements, yet other side doesn't, it is called "scamming". Scamming is basically an illegal activity, which is very similiar by description and nature to stealing. Prevention. There is no possible way to prevent appearance of the scamming forever, however there are possible ways and methods to secure yourself from it losses: -Use the services of "trading middleman". Trading middleman is the witness of a deal and it requirements from both sides. In case of scam, he will be able to help you in the report by providing evidence/proof in order to get the scammer punished by the server staff team. You can ask trustworthy donors or staff members to play the role of the trading middlemen in deals/contracts. -Record or screenshot the process of trading and try to describe as much as you can. Remember to ask the other side of the deal (Player 2) question about the conditions of the contract (ex. - I give you X and you give me Y, is that correct?) and screenshot their answer in case if they agree on the conditions. In case of scam, all the evidence/proof will be helpful in the report. Into the consideration: -Notice that losses from "chat scamming" may not be refunded and the "rulebreaker" may not get punished as losses from it usually consist in the amount of a few messages (in most cases players have ability to send infinite amount of messages in the chat and therefore messages do not have any material value). -Scamming only appears as a legal activity in case of upcoming server reset/restart. -Bad deals or in other words unadvantageous, but legal and successfully set deals don't appear as a variety of scamming.
