    Hey everyone,

Thank-you for reading, I hope that this is not taken as rude, but simply an idea that many people will like

Yes although this should be in suggestions.
The other day I decided to tp someone to my island for a trade. I thought it would just be a friendly trade, but then I started to panic. They started breaking my nether warts and I assumed that they were harvesting them. Then they broke the soul sand and dropped down onto my platform. I chased her and she began breaking and looting me chests. I panicked and said "Someone is griefing me!" In the chat. I thought that she was going to take the beacon that I hadn't privated and just placed down.
Someone responded in the chat for me and tped to my island. They helped me chase her and kill her by placing lava. I managed to get my 64 iron ingots back along with 2 beds, diamond pickaxe, 5 stacks of smooth stone. Yes I know it may not have been worth much, but I really did not want her griefing everything.
This was done at a time a mod was not online and when I did eventually report the issue... There were no logs and I could see her scamming in the chat, just to steal the items and grief.

Killing should be allowed on yours, a coop or with a friend's permission on their island. No one should have to just let their island be grieved and looted and not be able to do anything. There are not always mods online and killing should be allowed within reason.

see, someone griefed, and there were no logs. if you did not kill them, you would have lost that, plus maybe a whole lot more

You use tp's on your own risk. If they grief you and you tp'd them over, we are not required to fix it.
This is what was said when donors first got /tpa, something that was forgotten in time.

If they grief you, however, you have all the rights to kill the person.

Exactly my point. IF, they do something like griefing/looting/bridging/killing animals, you have the right to kill them

The problem with this is that people would do this without reason, thinking it's ok

In my opinion if you TP them to your island, it's your fault. It's not a moderator's duty to care why you killed them on a non pvp server unless you can show proof that they just randomly flew to your island. The act of TPing a user to you is what creates a trust issue. Donors lost tpa a long time ago because of this type of complaint, when we brought it back people agreed to not complain if they misused their command and got griefed. Thus, not staff problem. If you are scared for your stuff, don't TPA people, simple.

whenever someone asks to tp to my island for a trade, I go in a special locked room with a secret lever and it's mostly surrounded by void so I've never had people go around my island without my permission:).

I support this, except for the fact that it might make some people think killing is ok.
