Children and obviously some adults, there are a few things you should know before you go out in the real world. First off always treat others with respect unless they give you a reason not to respect them. This includes: Be respectful to women. Always, no matter what! Boys- Don't say inappropriate things towards them. Don't be sexists. Girls- We should be there for each other not bringing each other down. Be respectful to others orientations. Always, no matter what! If you don't believe a man can love a man or a woman can love a woman keep it to yourself. Don't bring god into this because if you are talking about others sins look at yourself in the mirror. Do you not lie? I've known some amazing people that aren't straight. This doesn't make them a bad person. Adults- Be respectful to children! Always, no matter what. One day you might have a child. Why not learn now how to deal with them. There are young children that play on this server. Can we not act like idiots and try to keep this place child friendly? I got on to play and all I saw was inappropriatness and hate. I got off and it made me wonder if I should even allow my children on this server. For us in the US and other places it's almost Christmas. It's a time for love and forgiveness. Why the double standard though? As in, why can someone who believes in homosexuality say it outloud all they want; but people who don't have to stay quiet? Seems pretty u-equal to me.
To be honest, it is Minecraft, you treat others the way you would like to be treated. People are nasty and hostile towards each other because they disagree on something, or they simply just don't get along. You as a human being cannot stop that. I respect that you made this and took the time out to type this, but it's the internet, whether you allow your children to get on it, is your choice. Not to mention, /ignore is a command that SHOULD be taken advantage of.

Exactly. But surely they shouldn't be required to keep the fact that they don't believe in it to themselves? Like it should be ok to say "I love you, but I don't agree with homosexuality" and not be forced to keep to themselves? The way the world works at the moment, conversations go like: A: I don't believe in homosexuality B: Why do you hate gays! God tells you to love everyone! A: Thats not what I said B: GTFO you homophobe
Is that really a good enough reason to shut yourself in? I will tell you I shut myself in, and I became depressed, badly. People should be able to express who they are. We live in a generation that has learned go accept and basically deal with things like Homosexuality. Is everyone okay with it? No. But there are large enough groups that accept homosexuality. Yes its okay to come out of the closet, and it will always be okay. You will face hard times, but what I will say is, if you're homosexual, do run around boasting about it, that's what gets people yo throw tomato's at you.
It's a server you go into knowing that stuff like this will be talked about. It's not inevitable, but some things should be monitored better than others, because children to play here. Yes I agree on this for the most part though.
I've never been hurt by a tomato. People boast about their straight relationships all the time... No one throws tomato's at them. Also where did the "shut yourself in" come from? I have fixed my situation I turned off chat til I calm down and accept that people are not inherently good. Is there a way to still do /fly n stuff without having to turn chat on and off? Be respectful to both genders*** Girls are just as capable of domestic abuse as men, and saying things like "be nice to girls!" is why we're blind to it. So I'm only allowed to voice my opinion if I agree with homosexuality? Please check the first amendment lol. Logically, bringing God into the equation is perfectly okay. Being gay is a sin- there's no doubt about it. Lying is a sin. I lie, I sin. That doesn't mean I won't go to heaven. But that doesn't mean lying is a good thing to do. I've known some amazing people that lie, also. That doesn't make them a bad person either. When dissecting your argument, it practically contradicts itself, and it seems as though you aren't completely aware of what you're talking about. LOL Have you ever seen posts on Tumblr? I barely go on there anymore because I constantly see posts of people discriminating straight people. Seriously. All in all, I agree with the idea of respecting one another, but please be careful when supporting that idea. If people want respect, it has to go all ways- both genders, all nationalities, all religions, all orientations, etc.
