Alright, let's be honest. No matter how undeserving or untrustworthy of being mod you are, you're going to end up making a moderator application. This may be months or merely minutes after you first join Skyblock, but in the end, the wait (however long/short it may be) is worth it. I'm here to give you a few handy tips for making your application. FIRST AND FOREMOST: Follow the application format. I can not stress this enough. Many a half-decent moderator was turned down because they used a paragraph instead of the format. The format can be found here: [Mod please edit this and add the link to the format, I can't copy-paste on the computer I'm on.] SECOND: Make sure you have a good title. Your title should look like "[Country you live in] Your username's moderator application" not "Lel plz .gif meh MUD plz". Imagine this: You're the owner of your own server. You have two applications on the forum: "[USA] Respectable_Guy's Moderator Application" and ".Gif meh MUD bcuz racecar". Which one will you look at first? Most likely Respectable_Guy's moderator application, due to it being formal and neat. penguin THIRD: Be creative!Nothing is more appealing than using color to grab someone's attention! In addition, you can use it to draw attention to the important parts. You didn't notice the "penguin" that I hid between rules 2 and 3, didn't you? Look again. This can save people some time; It'll make it easier to skim through and to remember FOURTH: Make sure you're COMPLETELY honest. If you've been banned twice for griefing, and you mention this in your application, people may think "Oh, he's being honest about it. Maybe he's changed! Support!" If you hide it by not mentioning it, people will think "He's trying to cover it up. Maybe he's planning to grief with his powers. No support." I'll add more later, as I'm semi-tired right now. I sincerely hope this helped. Happy applying! -Dent
