I was going down to an island that used a drop to get to it, and when I went down the ~5 second drop, I was banned with reason "The Ban Hammer has Spoken!" looking at the help threads, I see that is is because of a fly ban, activated to protect from people who are using hacks to fly. I think the only solutions are to remove all of the cheats, or to gather info about a client to see if they are using a modded client, such as forge or liteloader clients.

Please note that the ban that I got will end in about 2.5 minutes, so you do not have to unban me.

The console is a massive issue currently. Many agree that it should be removed, and it is simply an issue
of incorrect configuration. There is however a reason for the implement, and it will likely be fixed soon due to the amount of reports on the issue. If you are banned and aren't really willing to wait it out, you can appeal on the
Forums and a Moderator will attend to it.

 

OK, that makes sense, but I just think the temporary ban should be shorter, from 30 minutes to maybe 5 minutes.
By the way, it was a tempban, not a permanent ban.

I mean it doesn't work either... there's a bunch of clients that still work on our no cheat configuration.

 

Most mods will not unban you as it is only 30 minutes. they tell you to wait it out

 

Neutral, I find that it's there for a reason. I just think it should be fixed. Otherwise fully removed.
