My computer crashed last week, and I came back to find that there was a new island in my island area, but right outside of my safe zone. I haven't accepted any coop, nor have I sent an invitation to one. while I love new neighbors, suddenly the mob farmer I made is in his area (I built outside of my safe zone so stuff would spawn in it). I got some mods to help, but they literally said they could do nothing and they couldn't prove that he didn't make it. I took a screen shot of his island from the point of view of my mob farmer area http://i.imgur.com/urYfo44.jpg (its that glob of dirt). For an idea that I clearly made my spawner (if the fact that he couldn't make it just looking at his island which cant' produce much already) I took a picture of the spawner's size itself compared to his island http://i.imgur.com/qmw06rV.png, I took a picture of the spawner's size in general, with a path leading to my island http://i.imgur.com/y3fe4Vq.jpg. I also took a picture of the path leading to my original island http://i.imgur.com/PgvYz6d.jpg. there is also a clear, random grass plot that I created from my original dirt and some from grass blocks I won from voting (here's what's left from it http://i.imgur.com/xiibyWn.jpg). Why am I being so specific? The mods on said that there wasn't enough evidence to show that he wasn't the one that made it. If that's not enough, I have a picture of my double cobble generator I spent too much time just trying to get enough cobble http://i.imgur.com/9JA2TKd.jpg. I just want my island to work, and I just want to not worry about my island being taken over by people I don't know. I have proposed multiple solutions, even letting the stranger take my island if a mod just copied my island, have me create a new one, then having them paste it would be perfectly fine. for those who do not know, this sky island server has islands that are in their own realm, so the fact that there is another island in mine is extremely bizarre. Please help me, I'm very flexible to solutions, but I at least want a solution. I have been voting and supporting this server because it's been great, but I just want that to continue by solving this issue . If more evidence needs to be provided, I know the warp that is IN the spawner (I cannot get into the spawner btw, it's protected by the new guys land) and I know various other things that the new guy couldn't.

 

I was here along with Fizz and Steal. We explained to you that this was uncontrollable. By the looks of it (in my opinion), you bridge while the World Guard was down or their island was protected. For some reason, there island is protected and you are encroaching on their space. Thus, you cannot build.

The natural spawner that you have has become basically obsolete. Natural mob spawns are very rare on Skyblock. I offered to give you the cobblestone to rebuild it but never got a reply. If you need mob drops, go to /warp bdark.

I'm mainly looking to why this happened, and what can be prevented in the future. Mob spawns aren't rare, you just have to build outside a protected area and they spawn normally (why I built it so far away). I was told that islands were supposed to be in their own instances, so how did someone manage to get in there? It's become less about the spawner, but more about someone that I don't know in my space. I'm sorry, I did not see the offer for the 3 stacks of cobble. I was asking fizz about solutions (probably bothering him) and he asked me to ask a higher ranked mod, so I just came here instead of hoping I might come accross them in the server. Also my grass blocks are over there, in attempt to get some animals to spawn. That island didn't exist while I was gone this past week, it's alarming to find a stranger in an area that was supposed to be private. I'm exhausting any potential solution before throwing my hands up and giving up my hard work.

 

As I said, there was a period of time that the Protection plugin was down and not all island were protected. Thus, making you able to build on the island next to yours. The protection came back to most of the islands now and the one next to yours is protected. When the plugin wasn't working, you must have built past your 45 (from bedrock) block radius.

Believe me, when Fizz and I were helping you, you weren't bothering us at all. We are here to help players in need. If you would like to schedule a time when we can both be on, I can give you a bunch of cobble and a few grass to compensate since you cannot access that area.

Okay, it was under my impression that each island was in it's own mini universe which is why I was so alarmed and confused I was building before the island was there, so it wasn't the pluggin's fault. We can let the spawner chill there for now (I saw a skeleton in it earlier today, so it still works) and if xXxlickeabossxXx wants it there, maybe he will let me share it with him if not, he can destroy it and I will provide the tools for him to do so. I may ask for cobble, just for the sake of time. I used at least used 192 blocks for the tube (8 columns, 24 blocks high), 52 for the base (8X8 platform= 64, - 4 for the tube hole =60 - 8 for the columns = 52). Then 72 for the internal platforms (each platform was 3X3X2=18, then there were 4 so 18X4= 72) 80 for the walls (8X2 per wall around the elevated platforms, and 2X2 for the waterway part of the walls, adding to 20 blocks per wall X4 walls, ending with 80 blocks) and simply 64 for the roof (8X8 blocks). The grand total is 460 cobble blocks (192+52+72+80+64). That is 7.1875 stacls of cobble, ignoring any cobble I used on ground level so basically just give me the dirt I've lost in his area with 7 stacks of cobble and we can call it even I don't mind much about the wood or the rest of the cobble, but if I can get a majority of my time consuming cobble farming, then I'm A-okay with that! I will need to double check some of the locking pluggin things, and I'll be okay! Thank you for your help! (And sorry btw, I like math :3 )

 

Okay, this is completely fine with me. If I have enough grass, I will give you some. I can't refund all of it since I don't have much. The cobble I could give easily so that's not a problem. That sounds great!! And I get that dirt trade is illegal, it's all good!! Thank you for helping out then, kinda poor and can't buy much dirt

 

I understand how it is, we were all there once . Just make sure not to trade dirt, sand, anything made from sand, buckets, ice, god items, podzol, and gravel. Those are some illegal items. Would you like me to lock this so there are no more responses?
