My base has four dripstones two for water and two for lava. located at the same place in the open. Water dripstone is working well, but the lava dripstone is dead and is not working. is lava farming not allowed? if so how are stores mas producing stone bricks? I have experience with dripstone and how they work, so I know it's not my setup.
I would like to know this too. I saw the lava dripstone wasn't working on someones island on economy too.
So only a few are allowed? I just spent $45.00 on this server. with it was posted someplace before I spent money on this server, will continue looking for another server. serves me right for trusting.
Lava farming through dripstones is disabled but you can still get lava through right clicking a placed block of obsidian with a bucket
Honestly I do not get why it's disabled, considering obsidian isn't even expensive, but even then NO ONE is able to do it, it isn't just certain ranks. The money you spent on the server does not have anything to do with what features have been enabled or disabled.
Yes just for some clarification, no one can use dripstone to get an infinite supply of lava. It makes sense that it's disabled. Lava is one of the beginning resources that for the existence of skyblock has been a valuable item. You can gain more obsidian from /warp trade by buying an enderchest and then breaking it for its obsidian, or opening rare crates and winning an enderchest through there. At the moment that is the only server-injected supply of obsidian/lava apart from starter islands (lava bucket in chest). Previously you could get obsidian from nether fortress chests, although chests in fortresses have been disabled since the 1.19.2 launch.
