I feel like the Quartz Drop Rate may be a little to hard, I mined a ton of quartz and buy the end of it only had enough to make 4 quartz blocks, Yes I know that quartz is a so called "delicacy" in Skyblock but I feel the drop rate should be bumped up a little at least. Thank you :D

I support. Only a slight increase would be nice to see. There is very few quartz on the market and I just feel as if there should be more.

Support, go aggressive mining for quartz only to see less than 32 per 20 minutes, which is REALLY low.

It could possibly ruin the value of quartz a bit since there are players who mine quartz for a very long time and get stacks of them.

But would be good to see more in stock.

I recently went and mined over 100 quartz ore. My profit was 10 Quartz. 10 QUARTZ! It took a good 20 minutes just for 1 GRASS in profit. You could easily earn more at a casino at that rate.

Support. I have loads of quartz blocks from casino and its way better than mining them in the nether as Dark Slayer stated.

Increasing the drop rate of quartz won't increase the amount of grass you make. Adding a higher chance for drop will subsequently decrease the value of quartz. If you doubled the drop rate most likely the market will double the amount of quartz for sale per grass. So the only thing this will do is increase the accessibility for quartz which isn't necessarily bad thing but if you're trying to make more grass off of it then it won't help.

The current drop rate is 1/20 or 5% chance for quartz to drop. I personally would say make it something like 7.5% or 10% that way it doesn't totally lose it's value. Many players have spent hundreds of grass on quartz and would lose it's value if the drop rate was increased too high but I believe a 1.5x or 2x increase would do well

My main point was that the rate was low. Increasing the rate will surely reduce the price, but in the end you can easily get more quartz.

You are more knowledgeable logistically speaking than most staff and still no super mod kinda wack if you ask me.

Anyways, one of these two things need to happen. Either increase the drop rate of Quartz and have the value of the item decrease or I don’t know let’s have some good staff members uphold the rules of the server and ban those who are ILLEGALLY USING BARITONE in the nether to acquire quartz so that they can sell it to players at a relatively high price, which is basically cheating the system and illegally cheating on the server. And, if you think these players that are selling very very, large quantities of quartz are actually sitting down grinding for hours in the nether without baritone then you my friend are delusional and a part of what is wrong with this server.
I welcome anyone to prove me wrong if they so choose.

No support, much for the same reasons as everyone has stated, I think there is lots of quartz available check honsul, check ak2382, check dummybear. If there is so much quartz just floating around, I don't think the drop rate is wrong, and there is no need to destabilize the market for the sake of a few extra quartz.

    Drogo doesn't think it's needed.
Make sure you use a fortune 3 pick and double the drop.

No support, it is good where it is. I recently bought 3 dcs of quartz with no problem. Plenty of quartz out there.

I remember asking mods about this and was told it’s fine. Although I’ve never used baritone. Kinda stupid mods don’t actually know the rule. Points to a larger point mentioned in your thread.

Well, I have been mining for quartz for the past few days trying to earn some for my upcoming shop and just my builds in general. I definitely would love to see a very slight increase in drop rate as it would not affect the value of the quartz itself all too much on the server. Full support here!!

I would like to change my support. As they have now banned bots which automatically farm for quartz. I believe it would be better for all people to have an increase in the drop rate.

Using bots to auto farm quartz in the nether has ALWAYS been illegal.
Drogo doesn't think it's policed terribly well though.

I know they never policed but I have been told by many that bots were finally banned, although I have no seen staff say it. If they have actually banned them quartz drops should be raised
