before we start i dont have 50 posts as i had trouble trying to register my account Your in-game name: PugKiss What timezone are you in?AUD What country do you live in?Australia What languages do you speak?English,Spanish,French,Italian Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) Yes Why do you think you should become a mod?I have been skynet for a long time now and the server needs more staff.. There is constant hackers and spammers in chat and I would like to help out. I have been a role model exactly on purple prison in the past but I feel like I have matured more and would be more fit for the job than ever. I would like to become a helper because I feel that I could help make the community a better one. I believe that having a few staff on to greet new helpers is an important part of a server. This along with helper assisting new members, would make a great first impression on new members which can eventually lead to long-term members and donors. I see that the staff seem very close, and I believe becoming a helper would let me become more involved in the community. I am a casual gamer and I genuinely enjoy helping others. I have some knowledge of server moderation, and I am interested in things under the IT field. I am taking classes for this, and I think server administration and plug-in management is a large aspect of purple prison I am always looking to learn something about computers, and I believe staff and experience at skynet could teach me a lot. I would enjoy learning about the behind the scene work, of what makes skynet server different and very fun. I think I should be chosen because I would like to help this community grow. I know there are many new staff recently but I hope my skill sets and maturity can prove my worthiness. I am very good at settling disputes, and ensuring both people/ groups walk away with a fair negotiation or justice. I can keep calm under angering and frustrating situations, and deal with the task at hand. I am a good communicator with things from welcoming new members, to explaining in depth processes. I am friendly and as an active helper I would be the face of the staff team and Minefrost. I am very organized and could easily log/ track misbehavior to ensure no one continuously breaks rules. I am friendly, as I said, but I am not afraid to punish and stop rule breakers and arguments. Helping people can be like customer service, which I am good with as a can easily trouble shoot and problem solve as well as plan ahead to see if the issue could occur again. I can be a good leader, I can adapt to changes, and I can keep a head on my shoulders when things get tricky or hard. Lastly, I can manage several difficult tasks at once. For instance I am able to be active daily, play sports, and maintain Honor Roll grades in school. Starting off, I would take care of the chat for the server so that the environment is family friendly. Later on I would attempt to deal with more blatant rule breakers such as hackers and or people whom abuse glitches or bugs to take advantage of anything. If anyone breaks the rules with the exception of hackers (instantly taken action against) I will first give them a warning so they know they shouldn't repeat what they just did. If did again, either action or another warning will be issued but the third time will have immediate action. Considering the timezones, I can catch the more 'blatant' rule breakers whom could be ruining the experiences of players in my timezone where other staff aren't online or are busy with something else considering I'm highly active and fairly mature on Wild West and on teamspeak. I will my absolute best to ensure both the forums, teamspeak and in-game is a 'safe' or family friendly environment (considering our younger players). If I get asked questions, I will try my best to answer even if I'm mistaken where I could refer to another staff member for help. I could assist other staff if there are multiple rule breakers on one server in so they can be dealt with faster. I have been playing mc for nearly like 4 years now During weekdays, I can put up to an hour each day now considering I have exams coming up and on weekends I can provide as much time as I need on the server. During weekdays, I will be more active on teamspeak and forums but during the weekends, I will probably be ingame for most of the time. How long can you be active on the server everyday? 3-4 hours How long have you been playing Skyblock?3-5 months Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game)No Do you have any past experience as a moderator?used to be a very flawed jmod for WarZ so I can't count that as proper experience, so I was a Head-Admin on a practice server which has been closed down where I learnt more complex commands and was well respected on the server as well as fun. In this practice server, I had to deal with hackers and overall rule breakers every day because of the popularity of the server at certain times. I was also a helper on a server which has also been closed and I just had to deal with chat most of the times to prevent any flame wars commencing. Usually, I give a warning before I take action against the players with the exception of hackers where they are banned on sight. I worked with three strikes and you're out but during my time as Head-Admin, I shortened it to two strikes. I know the basic commands of most staff members unless there are plugins with different commands in which I have to learn. I have been a mod on vanilla server such as Pulse Vanilla. I also have co-hosted some of my friends' servers. I have managed clans and severs on Xbox 360 Minecraft and other guild based sand box games similar to Minecraft. I have had an alright experience of being a Helper/mod. I started out on a small server me and my friends brought up which no longer exists. I was head Admin on there and had a big responsibility like Checking the console for recent kicks and bans and seeing if they are worthy of joining back on the server. We ran and got around 10-20 players on at one time. I thought I would move to a bigger public server to do some staff training/work on there. I moved to a small server called Duel-play. It was a nice little server but i didn't like the attitude there when they were swearing and all there. I got demoted because I was not on active. So I decided to move to a new server called a1craft. This is a very nice little server where I got the job of being a Mini-games Mod and had the rolls of sorting out the plugins and kicking and banning the players. This is a nice little server with around 20-40 players online. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes but not the 50 posts as above u can read
^^ And also your paragraphs are very disorganized and hard to read - If you decide to try again sometime down the road maybe add a bit of color
You do not meet the requirements for applying for moderator. (View Here) Try to make some things bold and add color like Tuininja said previously. Once you meet the requirements and fix up your application, I will reconsider. No support. *It's also called a trial-moderator, not a helper if you are wondering.
You can't just use the excuse that you had trouble signing up for forums so you don't have 50 post count. It's a requirement and your application won't be considered without it. You also just joined today and another requirement is to be registered for 2 weeks at least on forums. Your application is very disorganized which is making my OCD go insane. There is no such thing as a helper rank, so you obviously aren't very experienced with the server yet. As well I find it quite amazing as still a teen (I am guessing) you know 4 languages. Are you completely fluent or just know some of those languages? And wait a sec, you're taking a class for server moderation? That's commitment! You don't seem ready to be a moderator on this server. No support.
I would support this, but u do not meet requirements. I am truly sorry. This is a very well written application
