That's a bad argument. You can always leave the chat. Also, the exact same thing could happen through msg.

 

No Support, easy way for people to ignore others by accident

It's been suggested many times. It's not going to happen.

 

I support something to lesson spam whether it's adding local chat, group convos, trading chat, coop chat, or a combination of these I just think there should be something to make chat less spammy.

 

I support this. Would be really cool to have in my opinion, and players can send the same message all at once, instead of sending messages to multiple people each at once.

 

I've thought of this idea in the past, but it's unethical. If anything, there should be a chat purely for your coop members as I can see a lot of non-donors using this if Skype isn't an option for them. That being said, those same players often watch the chat for drop parties and such, so they may not use it.
Also, Krissy is right about how donors would get into groups and ignore everyone else, particularly non-donors. I often see donors jokingly (but not totally jokingly) asking in global chat for "donor-only chat". There's clearly already enough discrimination against non-donors, and this would just cause more problems.
